"It was an outstanding property, it was perfect!"
We absolutely loved our time here and the views were amazing! In the words of our two-year-old "WOW"! The internet was poor but that is to be expected when you stay so remote. We can't wait for our next visit :-)
Thank you so much for lovely review especially from you two year old! I am so sorry the internet was slow, but I’m pleased to say we have just been connect to the Fibre network so speeds should now be super fast for you next stay, which I hope will be very soon. Property Owner

"Flagstaff is the most beautiful holiday cottage & in an idylic location - it was like a comforting & energising hug during our stay."
My sister & brother-in-law & niece & her fiance joined us for part of the time at Flagstaff & they loved it as well. Nothing is too much trouble of the owners & we appreciated the gift of Prosecco & milk left in the fridge for us (hubby & I don't drink alcohol, but the family guests staying do & did appreciate very much

"A lovely, extremely spacious property in a beautiful location."
Clean, tidy, and well equipped. We loved the sea views across the strait. Exploring Penmon on foot was great, and we were well placed to travel further afield across Anglesey for walks and beaches.
-
"An amazing location and an amazing home."
Everything we needed and really comfortable. The property was secure and we loved the view across to the mountains. The peace and quiet also could not be beaten.

Very comfortable. Real treat.

"Wonderful property, fabulous views, very clean and everything worked."
Lovely open fire, comfy beds and well provisioned kitchen. We ate some lovely food there bought from a local fishmonger in Bangor - Menai Seafood! Lots to do locally and we had the most wonderful time. Could not recommend highly enough.
-
"Such a great place to stay, a true home from home."
The place had everything you could wish for, and the owners were great. Highly recommended.

"A lovely property in an ideal location with beautiful views."
The house itself was well equipped but the TV in the main lounge was problematic and to small for the room. The house would have benefited from a deep cleaning has there was lots of cobwebs and surface dust. The beds and bedding were comfy but the towels had seen better days. Four stars?

"Beautiful house in an amazing location, we Couldn't have wished for a better base for a holiday."
The house and garden have vews of Snowdonia, over the Menai straight, that are epic. The house is well eqiped and very nice inside. The garden is large and the location is quiet. I really cant find anything to that we were not happy with. We will visit again and would certanly recomend a stay at this property to anyone. Thanks for a great stay.

"4 girls from Yorkshire, on now living in North Wales had a fantastic week exploring Anglesey and North Wales."
Had a lovely visit to Portmeirion travelling through the beautiful countryside. Great meals at The Bull, The Oyster Catcher and The Boat House. Several scenic walks on parts of the Coastal Path. The house was in a great location for exploring and very welcoming. What a view to wake up to every morning! Thank you for sharing with use.

About the location
BEAUMARIS
Menai Bridge 4 miles.
Beaumaris is a well known historic town on the Isle of Anglesey situated on the Menai Strait and overlooking the Snowdonia mountain range, making for the most stunning of sunrises. With its medieval castle (now a World Heritage site) dating back to the reign of Edward I and its Victorian pier, gaol and courthouse, it is also known as a major centre for yachting. Beaumaris is rich in history and retains much of its medieval street pattern. It’s setting, diversity of architectural styles and periods, differing scale, open spaces, varying roofs and overall quality contribute greatly to the town’s character. There is a good selection of shops, restaurants and public houses, as well as fishing opportunities and boat trips in the town, plus a golf course nearby. Along the coast is a large bay called Red Wharf Bay; its Welsh name is Traeth Coch (Red Beach) and the area is renowned for its glorious sunsets. The bay is very shallow and at low tide, almost 25 square kilometres (10 sq. mi.) of sand is uncovered providing safe bathing, perfect for wonderful family fun, fishing and miles of stunning scenic walks. Further afield is the port of Holyhead, which has regular ferry links to Dublin. Beaumaris is a good central base for touring Wales, in a beautiful location on the south coast of the picturesque Isle of Anglesey, within easy reach of the spectacular mountains of Snowdonia.
