"We had a fabulous weekend here ."
Highly recommend. Just off the main road so easy to get around Anglesey. The cottage is extremely clean very well equipped and tidy. Very comfortable beds. We have stayed in a few cottages on Anglesey and we loved this one. We did the walk to to Red Wharf Bay it took us 30 minutes with a kid and a dog we were strolling but what a beautiful walk fabulous views.
-
"A fabulous property-so much care and attention to detail from the owners to ensure you make the most of your time in the house, surrounding area and Anglesey."
Super walk to the beach for dog owners and in driving distance of all major sights. Highly recommended!

"Little Gem."
The cottage was so well equipped and comfortable. A real home from home. Bryn Bach is in a great location , lovely walk on doorstep that takes you to Pentraeth beach and we found Red Wharf Bay brilliant for evening walks with our dog. Lots of information is provided in the cottage so you can get the most out of your visit to Anglesey.

"Lovely cottage, comfortable, clean and well maintained."
Everything we could possibly need was catered for. However for us the smell of oil from the heating system was rather overwhelming especially in the kitchen and it permeated the house. If not for that we would be happy to book again.
Hi Linda. Thanks for your feedback Really sorry that you smelt oil during your stay in the cottage. We did have a leak from a hose in the boiler recently. We thought the problem had been resolved by our plumber replacing the hose. We are having a week at the cottage ourselves next week, so we will be able get the plumber back while we are there. "The cottage was very well equipped, comfortable and in a good location."
Although there is a main road close by we could still here the birds saw red squirrels and enjoyed the garden area. Would highly recommend Bryn Bach to family and friends who were holidaying in Angelsey. And hope to return next year ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

"We had a lovely relaxing stay in this cosy and comfortable cottage."
The cottage is well equipped and the instructions were very clear and easy to follow. The cottage is within easy reach of lots of beautiful coastal walks. We were also delighted to see red squirrels at the dingle. Thank you for making our holiday such a pleasant stay.

"We found the cottage 'Bryn Bach' to be very homely and comfortable."
Everything we needed was provided in the lovely spacious kitchen. The beds were very comfy! And everywhere was spotlessly clean. The bathroom was great apart from an emerging mold problem on the bath surround and ceiling. However I can see this as an ongoing problem, due to the structure of the stone cottage, not the fault of the owners. I would have appreciated a handle on the bathroom wall to aid access to the shower. Only an elderly ladys opinion! Lol . Pentraeth is situated in a great location to visit all of Angleseys treasures and the North Wales coast. There was loads of info and maps provided in the cottage which was a great aid to our days out! Thanks. This cottage is the best we have visited, without a doubt, and we have to return because although we searched, we didn't find one Red Squirrel! We spent a couple of afternoons in the little garden with its shady space and lots of seating. Had to move when the insects started biting though! Thank you Julie and Steve for a wonderful stay in your lovely cottage!

"We had a wonderful week at Bryn Bach."
The location suited us as a place we could head out from for walks, we loved taking the path down to Red Wharf Bay. It was a great base to drive out to other places on the island - Benllech, Penmon Point and Beaumaris were some of our favourites. Facilities at the cottage were great - including a lovely garden for sunny breakfasts. The information left in the cottage was really useful as were the little notes explaining how things worked.

"Cottage is in a lovely location - there is a great pub just a few minutes walk with great choice of beer and lovely wood fired pizza."
We also walked to the coast from the house which was lovely. The cottage is a very old property and the owner has emphasised the need to air the upstairs particularly and despite doing this - we left windows open most of the day, didn't leave wet towels in there and propped the bathroom door open - the bathroom felt damp all week even though it was a dry week and the bathmat never seemed to dry. The kitchen is well stocked but some pasta bowls would be great. The sound on the TV seems to have been affected by previous people staying.
Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate the efforts you made to ensure the cottage was aired by opening the windows. We plan to fit a more powerful extractor fan in the bathroom to try and reduce the humidity. Really pleased you enjoyed your stay in Pentraeth Property Owner

"Parking was tricky, also no phone signal which was a hassle we had a family member who was I’ll so we needed access to a phone signal."
If we were told before the booking we would have chosen another cottage, when we arrived the house felt a bit damp, other than that everything else was fine.
Hi Christine Thankyou for your feedback, it is helpful for us to understand everyone’s experience at the cottage. We are looking into why parking on the drive was tricky during your stay and will ensure easy access at all times in the future. We are aware that some mobile networks have poor signal at the cottage, sorry this caused hassle for you in your particular family circumstances. The Wifi is very good so many guests use “WhatsApp” messages and calls, Facebook messenger, emails etc. We realise this would be useful information at the time of booking. Thanks again for visiting “Bryn Bach” cottage Steve & Julie Property Owner

"We found the traffic noise from the main road intrusive."
Space in the bedrooms and downstairs toilet was restricted .The lounge and kitchen were more than adequate. The sitting out area was good but not suitable for young children.(loose slate underfoot). The cottage was well situated giving easy access to all areas of Anglesey and the Lleyn Peninsula.

"We had a lovely break at Bryn Bach, the cottage is in a great location for exploring the beaches of Anglesey."
Lovely walk to Red Wharf Bay from the door and 2 min walk to the pub for fantastic pizza! The cottage itself was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. The fire of an evening was very cosy. We even had good weather for a couple of days and we're able to sit in the lovely garden on an evening. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, we'll certainly be back again.

"Wonderful clean cottage."
Very comfortable and everything you could think in facilities, utensils etc. Best bed we have ever slept in whilst away, so comfy. Lots of lovely little touches that made our stay very enjoyable. When we visit Anglesey again we will definitely choose this cottage again.

"A lovely cosy comfortable cottage that was extremely well equipped."
We had marvellous weather for March but enjoyed snuggling up around the woodburner in the colder evenings. We really appreciated the smaller touches from the owners such as maps, places to walk and information about the area such as pubs, sightseeing etc.

"The cottage was located for site seeing on Anglesey."
The facilities at the cottage were ideal for a family that wanted to self cater and for those like ourselves that wanted to eat out there were plenty of places within easy reach to eat out. Lovely relaxing holiday.

Pub, Chinese Takeaway, Sandwich shop and garage all within a few minutes walk. We will definitely be back next year.

"Fabulous little cottage."
Perfect place to explore Anglesey both by foot and road.
-
"The garden was described as enclosed for dogs and did note that supervision would be required, which I would expect."
However, I didn't consider the garden to be enclosed as one end had a low wall which our small dog hopped over immediately.

Pentraeth is a small attractive village on the banks of the River Nodwydd on the north-east coast of Anglesey. It has a village church that dates back to the 12th century and is located between Llanddona beach and Red Wharf Bay, which has over 4.5 miles of sandy beach. The large bay attracts a huge number of waterfowl and wading birds, including shell duck, grey plover, purple sandpipers, curlew, oystercatchers and dunlin. Only 6 miles away is the delightful medieval town of Beaumaris which boasts a 13th century moated castle, excellent shops, pubs, restaurants, bistros and museums, as well as a golf course and exciting pleasure boat and sea fishing trips.
