  • "Property had everything we needed for our holiday."

Loved the stove & plenty of crockery, cutlery etc kitchen well stockeddwith appliances. Very warm home when the heating was on so turned off quite a few radiators. Only issue was that freezer section in fridge was very frosted over & there are issues over shutting the door to it properly Lounge comfortable as were the beds - husband used second bed for a few says as he was unwell (aged 72) . Master bedroom bathroom had the occasional bad smell - thanks for the air freshener , it was needed at times but not a major issue. Fantastic location with wonderful views- we would come back again.

  • "If you like to be by the sea this is a great place to be."

Amazing views of the sea and birds. The property is very cozy, but somethings need updating. The one thing that was unusual was the lack of wardrobes to hang your clothes in. Access from the lane can be a bit tricky and my car has the scars to show it!

I am sorry you had a problem. We recommend driving past the entrance and reversing into the gateway. We have a large Ford Ranger and this gets in ok so access is fine for most vehicles. Property Owner

  • "Loved our stay, and the weather was brilliant."

Property really needs more saucepans for the induction hob, as there is only one, and the unsuitable ones disposing of.

Many apologies, old pans now binned and more lovely new induction ones purchased. Property Owner

  • "Nice cottage in a lovely position Unfortunately the smell of drains in the en suite bathroom meant we couldn't use it and had to use the other bathroom."

It would make it doubtful if we would rebook

I am so sorry that you had a problem during your stay. If you had called me as requested in our house keeping book, we could have had the drains looked at and resolved while you were there. Unfortunately people put things down the loos that we request they use the bins for and someone had caused a blockage which was soon sorted once we were aware of the problem. Property Owner

Came last year as well . Great drying room with toilet as you come in with wet things . Lovely views from all the windows . Got some great sunset pictures. Love the fact it has 3 bathrooms great for families sharing.. And this year the water came right up to the cottage which was quite exciting for our grandson. Hope to come again .

  • "It was a delightful property, a family vacation home made available for the public."

It’s a little dated but adds to the charm and warmth of the property. The location is fabulous on the beachfront and great for walks with the family. Can’t recommend it highly enough. The owner was available to help deal with a couple of unexpected circumstances but they weren’t in anyones control. She was great. We would love to come back again. It was well worth the drive over to Anglesey. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful home.

  • "We all had a wonderful stay in this beautiful house."

An amazing location with a wonderful uninterrupted vista across Red Wharf Bay. The house itself was comfortable without being too precious, so easy to relax in. We understand it is converted chapel, so it has some interesting features. The outdoor patio area has been really well considered and the small garden area is perfect for sunbathing. All in all it exceeded our expectations.

Really enjoyed our stay and WILL return. We had a two year old toddler with us, so perhaps a baby gate could be available for guests for the bottom and top of the stairs?

You advised me if this via a voicemail, with no offer of compensation for my inconvenience. A really poor customer service. The property was lovely, but I wouldn’t recommend Skye based on customer service.
