  • "We had a fabulous stay, and didn’t want for anything at all."

It would be nice if there was some outside furniture other than the picnic table. We were lucky enough to have some beautiful weather but didn’t have anywhere to sit in the sun. This was our second visit and we would love to stay here again.

  • "The boathouse was exceptional, as expected."

We loved the view and rain or shine it was fabulous to look out at the bay. The storm was unprecedented and unfortunately there was a small leak above the doors in the main bedroom. Reported to Menai but no issues at all.

  • "We really enjoyed The Boathouse."

(We are so fussy!) The most mesmerising views. Quality really matters from the interiors to the beds, linens, towels and the lovey welcome pack. The kitchen was well laid out and had everything we needed to make dinner while watching the ever changing view. We used it as a base to explore wonderful Anglesey and the many footpaths. Puffin Island boat tour not to missed. We saw Puffins and seals. We had a fabulous time sipping Aperol spritz on the beach and watching the sunsets every evening. It was a memorable holiday and we would love to return.

  • "We had an amazing week at the Boat House."

The weather was mixed but there is so much to see even in the rain! We have booked again for next year!! My Grandson loved the beach and crabbing, there was a plethora of sea creatures!!!

  • "From the outside the Boathouse is spectacular, set in an ideal position, just outside the centre of Treafddur Bay."

Inside, the views are magnificent, from the huge panoramic windows, overlooking the sea. The upstairs kitchen and lounge areas are modern and comfortable, with a good range of appliances (with instructions). Lots of options for mood lighting. The downstairs bedrooms are tight, especially the back bedroom, with only a small cupboard to hang clothes. The front bedroom is better but not by much. The sleeping arrangements would be ok for a couple with two small children, but it was a bit of a challenge for four adults. It was fine when there was just two of us, and we had a wonderful time. When we arrived, the property was spotlessly clean, and well aired. Would I go back to the Boathouse - of course I would.

  • "It would be good to have some books in the house for renters to read if it rains, plus possibly some board games."

Also some leaflets of local walks & attractions would also have been appreciated.

  • "Nice place with excellent sea views and an enjoyable week."

For us the main letdown was the en suites, they were just to small and cramped for comfort and lack any decent storage space. The front window blind was difficult to use, as it under a good deal of tension when closed.

Always something going on at the beach. Quiet area just right for re charging the batteries. House well equipped and well designed. Nicely decorated and stylish .

Great showers and bedding. The view from the upstairs window is fantastic with both of us enjoying a drink and looking at the bay.

The owners have gone overboard (excuse the pun) to ensure that guests have a relaxing time.

Boasting exceptional sea views from its interior and close proximity to an excellent selection of Blue Flag beaches, The Boathouse is a coastal haven for couples or a family of four.

Park-up on the spacious driveway which has room for four cars, before unloading your bags with ease and making your way into your new home from home.

On the ground floor, you will find two well-presented bedrooms to return to after a day of adventure, the first being a king-size with en-suite shower room, a bespoke headboard with storage and French doors which can be opened to showcase stunning sea views as you slumber on the White Company Linen.

The second bedroom also boasts its own en-suite, as well as twin beds, also with the luxury of White Company Linen, (can be linked to king-sized), ensuring flexible sleeping arrangements for all parties.

Completing the ground floor is a handy utility room, perfect for popping sandy clothes on a spin after a day at the beach.

Climb the stairs up to the first floor, where you are welcomed into a spacious open-plan living area, here you can cook up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen, with handy dishwasher, ready to savour at the dining table for four over a celebratory bottle of fizz.

After dinner, relax on the L-shaped sofa where you can snuggle up in front of your favourite show on the Smart TV, with a backdrop of breath-taking sea views from the large picture window, as the gas fire adds a warmth and glow to the space.

Explore your local surroundings, where you will find the gloriously sandy beaches of Porth Diana and Traeth Treaddur right on your doorstep, here you can bathe with your favourite book, paddle the shores or try your hand at a selection of watersports, including kayaking, canoeing and paddleboarding, followed by a delicious meal at the Seacroft bar and restaurant.

Wildlife enthusiasts are well-catered for with the Porth Diana North Wales Wildlife Trust Nature Reserve nearby, filled with an array of plant life including the spotted rock rose, Anglesey’s county flower.

Those looking to test out their clubs whilst on holiday can do so at the excellent Beach Golf Course which overlooks the stunning bay as you play, or at the nearby 18-hole Holyhead Golf Course.
