  • "Comfortable, clean, and well equipped."

Great location close to the sand dunes and beach. Would recommend.

  • "We had a lovely time at the property."

very clean apart from the previous occupiers laundry in the hallway for the time of our stay. The fizz and chocolates were a lovely touch. Can not fault all of the kitchen equipment etc ,the amount of crockery etc. In the main bathroom whatever we did we couldn't stop shower spray on to the floor so I think 2 bath mats would be better and 2 hand towels . I think a blind at least non the front kitchen window would be a good idea. That said great property and we will hope to return

The kitchen is excellent with all you need, beds are very comfortable, decor is modern and fresh. Everything is explained in the welcome book, location of bins etc. The Prosecco and chocolate on arrival was a nice surprise. Very highly recommended

  • "Great spot and lovely and clean but the following detracted from being able to rate it higher - 1."

The beds are really small and narrow. We all struggled with them. 2. The en-suite needs a system for getting out the dampness - it soon smelt even though we left the door open and aired the room for hours. 3. The table was really tight for 8 even with 2 of them being children. 4. A cafetière so guests can have fresh coffee or a a Nespresso machine. 5. A couple more black bin bags as when we realised we needed to empty the bin it was too late to go to the spa to purchase any. 6. Be warned the extractor fan is low - at head height and we each at some point managed to bang our heads on it.

  • "A lovely property."

Clean and well equipped. Beautifully presented throughout. Wonderful location for walking dogs, The beds are small double beds and the mattresses very soft which may not be to everyone’s liking. The radiators had not been left on at the walls and so the set timers turning the heating on had not been working. The property was therefore very cold throughout on arrival.

Thankyou for scoring us so highly out of 100 and confirming that the property was lovely, well presented and was in a great location. Please note that the double beds are standard doubles not small doubles. Due to the unusual shape of some of the rooms, we had to opt for small bed frames, but we can confirm that all the mattresses (apart from the bunk beds) are doubles. Also the mattresses we selected are medium support mattresses as we thought these would suit most people. I do apologise that the radiators had been switched off. We have taken this feedback on and in the colder weather, we do remind the team to ensure they have not been switched off by the previous guests. I hope these issues didn't detract too much from you enjoying your holiday and we hope to see you again. Property Owner

  • "2 adults and 2 dogs, (though it was meant to be 4 adults but work intervened) had a great week at Twyni Mawr."

The flat is so well equipped, comfortable and clean. We had a problem with a leak under the sink which was sorted by the Sykes team with no issues. Rhosneigr is great for dune and beach walks, some good places to eat. Anglesey has plenty to do, we explored extensively, and we also enjoyed a couple of trips into North Wales. We will certainly look at visiting again and would very happily stay here if it was available. Thank you.

Thankyou for such a lovely review. We are so glad you had such a lovely time Property Owner

  • "My family and I which were 5 adults, my two grandsons 7 and 1 ."

We all had a fantastic stay at Twyni Mawr. So close to the beach and facilities. So happy to have been able to take our family dogs to, who really enjoyed their morning beach walks. Great comfortable base for us with all the amenities you need. Lots of places to visit like Anglesea Sea Zoo, Foel Farm . Which are about a 30 minute drive. Holyhead 12moles away so not to far for a shopping day or see the ferry’s. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here . Thinking of returning here again in the future.

I am so glad you and your family (and of course the pooches) had such a lovely time. You are welcome back anytime. Jo & Pal Property Owner

  • "We have been staying in Anglesey yearly for the last 10 years, in that time our family has grown but our needs have always stayed the same."

We want somewhere as clean as our own home! After some disastrous stays finally I can say we’ve found somewhere and this is the place. No mould, no weird dog smells just a lovely house fit for all the family. It’s located perfectly for shops, beach and everything Rhosneigr has to offer.

Thanks for the great feedback. We are really happy you had such a lovely stay. Pal and Jo Property Owner

  • "This was an alternative accommodation we were given due to our original choice being cancelled."

It did not disappoint. Lots of room very clean. We'll equipped. We asked for a cot bed and baby gates were also installed. The bed in the room with the ensuite felt like it needed to be bigger. However that is the only improvement we can think of. Nice walk into the main street and close by to the beach. Can see the sea and RAF Valley from the living room window. All in all a fabulous place to stay.

  • "Only negative feedback is the lack of a bathroom door lock which appeared to have been bodged with a piece of wire, photo available if required, plus the small bedroom side table was hanging off the wall, 2 things not expected on a property charging a premium rate."

  • "The property looked better in the adverts than in reality."

Some features were better than expected eg equipment in the kitchen was very good but the property was let down by cheap features like plastic plants, cheap plastic toilets no shelves in the bathroom near the bath or shower. These additions/ removals would have helped.
