  • "I would not stay here again due to poor property maintenance, poor housekeeping and the property listing was not accurate (Sykes disputed this until I supplied a screenshot of the web listing)."

There is a shower, but no bath. Electric cooker and fire and not gas. Property information found inside the house was incorrect as well - no access to cushions to site outside - which was disappointing as the weather was lovely. The kitchen is of a very poor standard. Dining table in the kitchen cannot comfortably sit more than four people whilst preparing and serving meals. Internal windows were filthy with handprints all over them. Laminate flooring in hallway is lifting and a trip hazard. Behind the bed had not been cleaned which was obvious as the bed was not against the wall on arrival - there was paper and dust behind it. Mattress stained brown on the side and no attempt to clean or cover it with a bed base cover. The internal doors including the wardrobe was stained with yellow marks. External door to the front of the house dirty and blackened. Grey towels provided were bleach stained. Outside door where the keysafe is located has a rusty lock which was difficult to open and close due to the rust. I would not book with Sykes or stay at this property again.

  • "The view from the Little Dolphins lounge is spectacular!"

The house was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We were delighted to find there is a dishwasher, which isn’t listed in the amenities! Thank you for the wine, Welsh cakes and milk, much appreciated. The back yard area has been secured so is safe to let the dog out. Little Dolphins is close to the village centre and a short walk to the beach.

  • "We had a fabulouse tme at Little Dolphin."

The only issue was wth the advertising of the bedroom with the bunk beds. The weather was amazing and so close to the beach with beatiful views all around. You can also see the jets taking off from RAF Valley over to the right. Our only concern was that the picture in the information on the website clearly indicates a larger lower bunk with two pillows on the lower bunk bed room, indicating an extra wide singe or a double at the bottom with a single above. As we were three adults ladies we were happy with the advertising and one of us would sleep in the lower bunk. However, when we arrived the bunk at the lower level was definitely as single with one pillow. Not what the pictures demonstrated, although very comfortable, was a bit of a squeeze.

  • "Ideal property close to beach and amenities."

Views are second to non they were picture perfect. House was clean and comfy, the kitchen was well stocked to make meals and a great shower, a suggestion would be to have a blind in the living room as it got really hot and it was only June and the pillows in all the bedrooms were so hard but all in all a great place to stay and I would stay again

  • "We had a fantastic stay at The Little Dolphins."

The view from the house is second to none and it's an ideal setting for watching the RAF do their thing! We had brilliant weather during our stay and were treated to beautiful sunsets every night from the comfort of the living room. We didn't want to leave and will definitely be booking again!!

The view from the lounge was to die for. Our welsh collie could not wait to run down to the beach every morning. Hope to book again next May, we just love Rhosneigr and the Little Dolphins.

  • "The place is shabby…2 thread bare and torn arm chairs; Ill fitting old wooden kitchen cupboards and drawers which didn’t shut properly; stained work surface; poorly painted and cracked bathroom and toilet floor boards; chipped paint."

No welcome pack; coffee machine we couldn’t use as no coffee pods provided and none available locally. No bedside tables in one bedroom, poor quality cutlery, chipped mug, no bucket for the mop. Place smelt of dogs. Rusty radiator in the bathroom. Tatty board games in one cupboard. Cheap, old and tatty furniture. Place so dirty we had to call the cleaning service in. They came promptly and they spent an hour getting the place to a clean enough standard. Wish we had read the reviews on line before we booked, because we would never had booked this place, despite its wonderful views and location. Sykes you need to sort all this with the owner.. they are letting your company’s reputation down. Not worth the money.

  • "Perfect & beautiful location, fantastic views, very clean, very comfortable & every kitchen utensil you need."

These are my personal opinions & probably everyone won't agree but the house is clean & comfortable, yes it may need freshening up here & there & the furnishings may not be to everyone's taste but it is clean & comfortable. For me a washing machine would be better than the dish washer but again that's personal choice. Easy reach to the beach, shops & a nice fish & chop shop a few minutes walk away. Being able to see RAF Valley & the jets taking off is a spectacular sight (the binoculars provided are brilliant for that) Overall a lovely holiday staycation property.

  • "Fabulous views & close to beach, comfortable & very clean, good Wi-fi but no washing machine is not good, my problem for assuming it had but is a deal breaker."

back door didn’t lock needs shutter blinds on ground floor bedroom windows it’s like you’re in a goldfish bowl and had to keep curtains shut permanently. Could do with a bit of an update and kitchen had missing utensils like sieve masher whisk, fridge very small for a house of 6 people. There was no food waste bin, got told to put in main bin but on recycling sheet showed food waste bin.
