  • "Bryn Mor lives up to its name."

It is a "great" cottage to stay in and we loved it so much we are planning to go back next year. It certainly has the "wow" factor when you walk into the property and it feels so relaxing and light. The view is spectacular and there is a wonderful garden complete with fire pit. Must mention the amazing super king sized bed sooo comfy. We have to mention the Boat House which has everything you may need for the family. Thank you Vikki and Steve for creating a little haven in Anglesey. Definitely a 5 star rating for us

Great property lots of extras from welcome pack of goodies to games/books/magazines in the house and Boat house. Property was very clean, everything we needed was there even the wood for log burner and garden fire pit. Owners contact was brilliant and really friendly before during and at the end of our stay, we had contact numbers if we had any queries or issues. Loved the place and will be booking again.

  • "Review 2024 We’ve had another lovely week in this little piece of paradise."

A great base for exploring Anglesey and being able to come back later in the day to sit on one of the patios (weather permitting) to look across to Holyhead Mountain and see the ferries going in and out. Well equipped for everything and thoughtful consideration has gone in the planning and organisation of the cottage. Vikki is a very personable and reactive host. We made a couple of simple suggestions in our feedback to our excellent hosts last year and these were acted on. Thankyou! Had another good meal at Gadlys Hotel in Cemaes. The ‘Coffee House Shop’, just off the main road near the school has some excellent produce if you look carefully. An Aladdin’s Cave! Very helpful staff and notice the old sign above the entrance. Plenty of history. The Maritime Museum in Holyhead is a little gem. See my review on Tripadvisor. We can highly recommend this special little cottage with the Boat House alongside providing extra space and entertainment if needed. Many thanks for the welcome pack and goodies! We’ll be back!

We arrived to a welcoming Christmas lit cottage , which looked so pretty in the darkness after a long but worthwhile drive . A text , Christmas card and a box of chocs ( in addition to a goody box ) made us feel as if we were more than guests . Baskets of logs were already in place bedside the Ready to light wood burner , all we had to do was unpack and relax . We were extremely cosy and warm in front of the efficient log burner whilst storm Gerris raged outside .The uninterrupted views to the Irish sea gave a ringside seat to ‘ purple skies ‘ and a fantastic lighting display . The boat house ( with its own t.v and woodburner ) prevented any disputes over who watched what , perfect for families and partners alike . Our Border Terrier loved exploring the garden and was content to sleep on the underfloor heating in the ‘ boot ‘ room after long walks on beaches and coastal paths . All in all , cannot recommend Bryn Mor highly enough … try it for yourselves , you wont be disappointed .

Lots of outdoor space and lovely well maintained gardens. Sheep regularly pop down into the neighbouring fields so something to be aware of when bringing your dog as our colour wanted to herd them all. Lovely welcome basket with treats for the dogs and a beautiful bottle of wine. The annexe was great and Netflix was on there so that was nice too and the wifi worked perfectly. Only 1 mile walk to church bay. A few steep hills there and back for certainly gets your steps in for the day. Church bay is beautiful and well worth the morning walk for a dip in the sea. Very quiet at the house which was perfect. Would 100% recommend and return. Also vicki was fantastic

The decor is excellent - we were very impressed with the up-cycled handmade furniture created by the owners, Vikki and Steve. There is a brilliant blend of seating to maximise the fabulous views plus very comfortable seating in the Games Room to relax on after a busy day at the beach. We enjoyed the use of the pool table in the evenings. We were very lucky with the weather during our visit, but this did mean that we didn't need to use either of the two log-burners - perhaps we will next time! The garden is beautifully well-kept and includes seating areas to appreciate the view from. The cottage is very clean, and the towels and bedding provided are of a high standard. The bedrooms and bathroom are nicely presented. I was rather disappointed with the kitchen as it felt a bit rundown and the living space just wasn’t comfortable enough. The chairs and wicker sofa are uncomfortable and the whole area felt more like a caravan. Whilst the boat house is a nice edition with the games and pool table I didn’t feel comfortable sitting in there. The cottage was clean and the bedding and towels beautiful. Lovely welcome pack. Some cleaning products left too which I like. The garden is fabulous too.
