"We had a wonderful stay at the cottage."
I couldn't find a dustpan and brush to use which would've been useful and there was a previous guests food left in the freezer compartment of the fridge which was rather iced up. The location was perfect though and I wouldn't hesitate to book again.

"Our second visit and won't be the last."
Lovely cottages in a superb location. Very quiet and peaceful. As with all properties, there is always room for improvement. Beds could do with being replaced. Very hard and creaking. Grill pan and a couple of plates were dirty and dust behind doors and under furniture. Otherwise, well equipped, good clean bedding, and comfortable.

"This must be our sixth visit now and everything is always spot on."
Quiet, clean, so comfortable and a fully equipped kitchen. I think the only thing that should be improved are the bedroom blinds. These need to be replaced with black out curtains/blinds to fit all the windows including the odd shaped windows too so you don’t wake with birds each morning. Apart from that, everything perfect.

"Lovely cosy cottage."
The instructions regarding heating need to be updated. We had a leak from the bathroom sink. Fixed the day it was reported. Would definitely make a return visit. Highly recommended!

"The biggest negative for us was the lack of anywhere to put shower gel etc except on the shower tray - to far down for us oldies."
The living room floor could have been cleaner.
-
"Strong smell of damp flannel as you step inside the property owing to the hallway carpet."
Black mould in the shower test, rust on the shower rail, dirty shower head and sliding door hanging off. Could write name in the dust on the back of the bathroom door. Lots of light bulbs need replacing. Needs an update Positive- good location and has lots of potential

"Lovely cosy cottage."
Very well equipped, and the courtyard was lovely to sit have have a drink even in November due to being sheltered, and very well kept. Booking with Sykes could not have been easier and will definitely be booking with them again.

"Generally everything was fine but there is limited headroom in the bedrooms and there were no oven instructions."
-
"Really enjoyed our stay at the cottage."
There were a couple of small things - a shortage of coat hangers ( 6 in one wardrobe and none in the other), dishwasher tablets were provided but not washing up liquid. Overall though it was well equipped and in a great location. We had a problem with the fridge door but was very quickly sorted by the caretaker.

"Beutiful cottage, met with a nice bottle of Prosseco, and Welsh cakes , nice touch."
Everything we needed in the cottage. Garden so tranquil. Not far from the beach and shops, looking forward to returning next year.
-
"Stayed in this cottage several times over a few years."
Always found it comfortable, convenient and very well cared for.

"Lovely week."
Comfortable and well equipped. Fridge was quite small for self catering. Great base for visiting Anglesey

"Hi we stay every year and love the cottage and location."
I emailed last year and the end of the stay in 2019 to say that the cottages needed a good clean and were looking tired. The same applies this year. We rented Ty Oren and Ty Coch. The skirting boards are dirty and the cupboard under the stairs in both cottages were sandy, messy and had things under there so we couldn't use. Over the years the utensils have not been replaced and the cottages need new chopping boards, more utensils and pans etc. They need a really good clean, rugs etc Other wise a lovely complex and we have booked again but are really hoping for the price we pay that things have been updated, re-freshed and re-stocked. thanks

"Very good holiday home, very well appointed with everything of good quality."
Beds were massive and very comfortable with no wriggling around to avoid springs. The only thing I would improve, which is quite petty, is to add a hook to the lovely oak doors in the bedrooms, for a dressing gown.

"This is the 3rd time we have stayed at we had a great week and have booked again but it was not as comfortable and clean as previous years."
The whole place needs a deep clean, under the beds and under the sofa and the bathroom door had soap and tooth paste splash marks on from previous residents! The bed sheets were too small for the bed. A lovely setting and the caretaker Kelvin is great but it's not cheap and it needs a better clean!

"The cottage had everything we needed with a lovely welcome pack."
2 good sized bedrooms and modern bathroom (shower). Good open plan layout. Table and chairs outside each cottage in the courtyard. Short walk to the beach. Lovely and quiet beach resort. beautiful Beach. Lots of walks nearby. South Stack a must to visit - but about 400 steps and steep in places. Spectacular though. All in all - we loved it.
-
"Lovely, modern cottage in a quiet area, and only 5 minutes walk to the beach."

Had everything we could want and it was lovely to have clean sheets every week.

"Cottage as advertised Enjoyed a lovely break"
-
"A very pleasant cottage in fantastic settings."
As with all holiday let accommodation there will inevitably be bumps, scratches and damage. Hence only 4 stars. Nevertheless, we would highly recommend staying at Tyn Towyn in Trearddur Bay, Anglesey.

"Great location."
Property needs some updated interior to get 4 or 5 stars. Really useful to have separate laundry room. We had high winds which rattled the guttering on the next door property all night which was annoying. Lots of parking and a well equipped kitchen. Spacious enough for 4.
