  • "Lots of good things, but overall the cottage is in need of some upgrading."

. The downstairs bathroom was in poor condition a number of the windows were difficult to close. The crockery had a large number of chipped items. Worst part was the appearance of a rat in the back garden - not what i expect in a property in this price bracket.

Thanks for leaving this review however its content is not a true representation of our property . The house was fully renovated 2 years ago with a new kitchen, bathroom and redecorated and refurbished throughout . The downstairs bathroom wasn’t replaced but it is in a good condition. We work hard to ensure that the property is prepared ready for guests this includes checking crockery that isn’t chipped . We are fortunate with the location of the property and have red squirrels in our garden . I’ve never seen a rat neither has any of our guests . It’s more likely that you mistook what you saw for a rat . This review is strange and a stark contrast to all the other 5 star reviews that we have received Property Owner

  • "Absolutely brilliant setting."

A short walk to the beach, red squirrels in the trees in the garden, hot tub….what more could you want? Would certainly stay again.

Glad you had a lovely stay with us . The red squirrels are so cute aren’t they. Hope to welcome you again sometime soon. Property Owner
