  • "Cottage was in the perfect location, over looking the Menai Straits."

Great view. Loads of parking. The property has all the things we needed. It was clean. Everything from dish cloths to Sky on the telly. Local pub serves great food. Especially happy that we could take our dog "Zero" he gives out 5 paws.

  • "A beautifully situated cottage, fabulous views, walks, a shop and pubs nearby."

Lovely comfortable beds, but cottage could do with a little TLC. All the white goods you could need but no sharp kitchen prep knives and a few other basics, not enough crocks to run a dishwasher. Need a better cleaner, butter on chopping board, tea stains running down washing machine, crocks left in dishwasher. Old used toiletries and old soap(with hairs) left in bathroom/shower room, used washing up sponge/cloth and dried out air fresheners ! The neighbours were all lovely and showed us their rear patios, beautiful, this one is unusable, rusty and overgrown, beware large brambles if you venture out of back door !! No info booklet about how to use equipment, where to put rubbish/ recycling, heating controls, fuse boxes, emergecy doctors/hospitals/vets etc etc

Thank you for your comments, they have all been addressed,Ann is a very good housekeeper,I apologize for the issues you had, must have been her "off day".The books on how to operate the kitchen equipments are in the kitchen and the information on where to contact doctors, hospital, fire service etc is in a black display book. Yes the garden is wild, but it clearly states in the description of the cottage that it is out of bounce as this is a newly acquired property and the garden is a future project.Thank you for staying at my cottage and hope you had a lovely time Property Owner

  • "We were very happy with the accommodation and felt that everything we could possibly need had been provided, far more than anything place we've ever stayed before, which was really nice."

The accommodation was reasonably priced. The surrounding areas were really beautiful and the people really nice and friendly. I would give the home and the experience we had a 10/10 despite the few bits that weren't 100% to our satisfaction, only because it's impossible to keep everyone happy 100% of the time and because it's clear that a great deal of thought has gone into making this home as comfortable as possible for every guest who chooses to stay there and because I'd be happy to stay there again and to recommend this place to friends and family. The only recommendations I would make is to replace the kettle, as it takes a long time to fully boil the water and to ensure that things like the microwave and the furniture beneath the cushions, etc. are cleaned more thoroughly for the next guest(s) stay ♡ Other than that, everything was honestly perfect! Thank you so much!

  • "We enjoyed our stay at this cottage and would go again."

Larger than expected, well presented with a good kitchen and appliances, and plenty of pans, crockery and cutlery. Small front garden but safe for our small dog. The large bed in the second bedroom limited the space available for bedside cabinets, but the main bedroom with an even larger and comfortable bed was roomy. Our problem was no coat hooks in the hallway, so we had no option but to leave our outdoor clothing on the hall floor, which is not desirable in wet and cold weather. Also the new tin opener doesn't work - also mentioned by a previous guest. Otherwise, a very good cottage in an ideal location with lovely views across to Anglesey.

  • "This is a super cottage which is comfortable, warm and more spacious than we were expecting."

We particularly liked the roomy, well-equipped kitchen. Outside it is only a few seconds walk to the edge of the Menai Strait and we enjoyed watching the water, the bird life, the sunsets and the morning mist. Nearby is a general store and pub. There were a couple of issues in the kitchen: the cold tap hardly ran and a window wouldn't close fully. More significant perhaps was the lock box which is only a few inches off the ground. We had to kneel to use it which is not ideal when it is night-time and raining! Despite these issues, which will hopefully be resolved, we recommend this cottage and its lovely location and would be happy to stay there again.

TV and internet a very welcome feature. Everywhere was spotless and what a view we had simply lovely, even a little play area if you had little ones with you. Everywhere was so easy to get to and visit, we truly had a lovely time and relaxing time.
