  • "Lovely little house in a great location, central to lots of amazing places."

The house was very clean and comfortable with good facilities. The kitchen is very modern, all appliances were easy to use and the beds were really comfy. Lovely shower too! Hooks on the back of bedroom and bathroom doors would be useful for wet towels etc. The only other thing we missed was a tumble dryer or heated airer for drying clothes/coats/shoes after rainy days. Would definitely recommend staying here for location and facilities.

  • "This was our second holiday in this lovely cottage overlooking the Menai Straits, where we watched boats bobbing up and down day and night."

The cottage is stylish and comfortable with all the facilities you need for a perfect stay. Within easy reach of Caernarfon, Snowdonia and Anglesey, Portmeirion is just over 20 miles away - so there is plenty to do whatever the weather. We hope to come again soon. • "We had a lovely stay."

It is in an ideal location for getting around north wales. We were out and about everyday. We were lucky enough to have good weather most the week so that helped. We got to see the local charity raft race which was brilliant! The property was ideal for the three of us. It had great storage which I usually find an issue. It was decorated well throughout, and had everything we needed in the kitchen. If I had to be picky I’d say parking was a pain as it was always busy (and there was usually a van blocking the view) . We couldn’t sit out in the back as the chairs and table weren’t in the best condition , the front windows were really difficult to open and the property was a little on the cold side. But those are just minor things that can be rectified .

We enjoyed it alot. The village has everything you need, including a fantastic pub, a lovely Thai restaurant, a shop and a couple of good cafes. Parking was never a problem. bar Lloft also good. Excellent location for exploring North Wales - Snowdonia, Anglesey, Carnarfon and Conwy all a short drive. Good public transport options too.

It never disappoints, its position, cleanliness, comfort would take some beating. Cottage is well equipped, beds are so comfortable. It’s very well placed for easy reach to the best destinations. We have stayed multiple times and do not have any thought of staying anywhere else.

  • "My family has stayed in a few times in the place and it never disappoints."

We like the place, there’s a good pub with bice food, right next door. Playgrounds are for kids across the road, nice view of the Menai (canal?), we see mostly families, dog walkers, and people on water sports related passing by. There’s a good walking path nearby with nice views. Not far from Bangor, Caernarfon, and just about 20-30 minutes from Snowdon. To us is a nice hidden gen.

If was used to soon after being switched on it didn’t come on. But that didn’t stop our stay there being lovely and in such a great position

  • "This was our second consecutive year at this property."

Open plan and sizeable, as well as spotless, it is an ideal set up for a family. The property itself is perfectly located on the seafront where the kids enjoyed crabbing and watching boats. And the property is a very short walk from a family run pub, which is also handy. Highly recommend.

  • "Second visit."

Love the position in Y Felihini, with sea, mountains, cycling, walking and 3 nice eateries in walking distance. Glad Y Don just misses a few little touches to really make it perfect - a few well thought out pictures and a welcome pack (so often provided by caring owners these days) would provide much cheer! Thanks again though.

The house was very clean and had just about everything you would need. However, I would have expected hand soap and basic cleaning essentials to be provided. Also, the high chair straps were disgusting. Overall, we had a great stay!

Great foody pub just a few doors down and the Thai restaurant 5 mins away is also really good. The cottage had everything we needed for the week and is very modern and comfortable. Y Felinheli is a great location for getting over to Anglesey - Newborough beach, Beaumaris and Penmon point, as well as only being 20 mins into Snowdonia for zip world. Really liked the sea views! The house was very comfortable. As it was sunny and warm when we stayed we were able to take advantage of the fact that we were on the seafront by taking walks along the cycle path to see the boats in the marina nearby. Our toddlers enjoyed the nearby playground. There is a pub serving food close by and the village has an excellent Chinese takeaway. Would recommend this property.
