"Just back from a week in this lovely cottage."
Its 5 stars across the board from us and exceeded expectations. To be honest we have not stayed in any better accommodation over many years of travelling. On top of this is the wonderful location, even with a poor weather week it didn't seem to matter. So much on your doorstep to explore and one week was not really enough. We would hope to visit again and wouldn't hesitate to stay at Innishall if it was available . Nigel & Rachel
Thank you so much for the excellent feedback. We're delighted with your response to our cottage. You certainly were unfortunate with the weather but doesn't sound like it held you back. Thank you for your booking. Property Owner

"Lovely cottage in a good location to visit the Iona, Mull and Oban."
The cottage was very clean and the kitchen had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The garden is lovely and perfect for the children to play and explore. The owners were very kind and friendly. Would like to book this property again due to its location and good experience.
We're delighted you enjoyed Innishail and had a great holiday. Thank you for choosing our cottage. Property Owner

"Really nice place - the kitchen has been clearly refitted recently to a very high spec and was great to cook in."
The lounge was very comfortable with large / new settees which were very comfortable. All fixtures and fittings in the cottage were new and of a high spec. The place was really clean. The garden was also large, lovely and well looked after. The owners were really helpful.
Thank you for your kind comments. We're delighted you enjoyed Innishail. Thank you for your booking. Property Owner

"Innishail is a beautiful cottage set in a mature garden with lovely views from the front windows."
Golden Eagle soaring overhead, cuckoo to the rear and a range of garden birds added to the background gentle ambience. The cottage was clean and tidy, welcoming on entering and restful. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped with everything needed for the enjoyment of the stay. The Museum at Kilmartin provides a history of the area. Innishail is perfectly situated to provide a retreat and/or a base to visit the surrounding area. Oban is less than an hours drive away making day trips to the islands an option. We have no reservations in recommending Innishail.

"Even though we didn't meet the owners they were very helpful in getting us to the cottage because of lsndslides and road closures."
We cannot recommend this cottage highly enough, so picturesque and peaceful.
-
"Lovely cottage, very well maintained inside with lovely new kitchen, carpets etc."
It is so homely and relaxing. Everything you need has been provided. My only negative would be there is nothing for quite a few miles i.e. small shop, hotel/bar.Lovely views from front window lots of little birds, red squirrels running around. Lovely seating in garden which we were unable to use due to bad weather. Garden borders need a bit of attention weeds etc quite dense in areas.
-
"Spotlessly clean and extremely comfy cottage."
Ideal location with exceptional views. Met the owners who were very helpful and really friendly. Would recommend this place for a peaceful relaxing stay with plenty of walks for the more outdoor type. 10 out of 10 from Stuart and Gail. Sheffield.

"We enjoyed our stay in this lovely comfortable and well appointed cottage very much."
We enjoyed watching the birds at the feeders in the attractive garden so much we did not even turn on the tv. The location was quiet and peaceful, yet ideally situated with many places of interest close at hand The wine and supplies left with a card by the owners were vey welcome and we received a text thanking us for choosing Innishail and wishing us a safe journey home on the last evening which was a nice touch.

"Everything about the property was very good."
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
-
"The welcome pack was much appreciated."
The cottage was spotlessly clean. All the seats and beds were comfortable. As two of our party were disabled, we were able to park close to the back door making access easy for them. Would higly recommend this cottage.
-

"I recommend resting in this house."
Clean, quiet and peaceful, you can rest only among the singing birds. Owners very helpful. Highly recommend!

"This property comes very much top of the long list of holiday cottages I have rented over the last decade, many being booked through Sykes."
It suited me very much, being in a quiet location, having a carefully- refurbished interior with up-to-date appliances, lovely comfortable settees in the sitting-room, good storage space, generously-timed heating and hot water and wonderful front garden with a lovely view. The owner had also left a number of provisions which were much-appreciated. Excellent!

"This is a lovely cottage, attractive, clean, comfortable and well equipped."
The view from the front windows was a wonderful surprise. It would be beautiful at any time of the year but was stunning in May with the azaleas in full bloom. The owners, while not intrusive, were both friendly and helpful. It is set in a quiet village but within reach of great walks, beautiful coastline, fascinating archeological sites and wonderful gardens.

"Just back from a fabulous week."
The cottage was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Brilliant shower very powerful. Very warm and cozy. Spent time looking out the window watching the view and all the birds. Excellent folder with instructions for all appliances. Good location for heading to Oban and down to tarbert for the isles. I would happily return. Owners were lovely too.

"Beautiful location ."
Extremely quiet and peaceful. Owners a pleasure to meet and a really nice welcoming tray of treats. Would highly recommend this bungalow.

"Beautifully refurbished bungalow."
Super comfy lounge with view of the hills, great bedrooms, well-equipped kitchen, good WiFi, although no/ weak mobile signal for us on Three. Plenty of parking space out back, and lovely front garden with visiting birds and once a red squirrel, adjacent to a really quiet lane with privacy from neighbours, near the edge of the tiny village. Though note, to get a loch view needs a short drive/cycle or at least a short hike up the hill. Great days out in the fantastic scenery of Argyll, wee towns & villages, and Killmory beach (gorgeous white sand, quiet even in high summer!). Except we found summer ferries for an intended day trip to Mull should’ve been booked well in advance. Ace cycling: Stunning Kilmelford-Dalavich loop (allow time for the hills!), worth the extra miles to the end of the peninsular at Keillmore (and back via the canal & Kilmichael), and OK but mostly in the trees on the SE side of Loch Awe. And well worth the scramble up Dun Dubh for the 360 views.

ARDFERN
Lochgilphead 16 miles; Oban 21 miles.
The picturesque coastal village of Ardfern sits on the Craignish Peninsula in Scotland’s beautiful and dramatic Argyll region. An ancient settlement, there is evidence of population at Ardfern dating from 600 AD when contemporaries of St Columba were here, plus there is a ruined church on the Peninsula dating from 12th century. The village today contains a pub, shop, craft centre, tea room and a large marina, ideally placed for sailing off the west coast. A second marina is nearby at Craobh Haven and the towns of Lochgilphead and Oban are well worth a visit offering many shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. The surrounding scenery is what makes the area, with the hills, lochs and mountains offering spectacular walking, plus there is fresh water and sea fishing nearby to delight the angler.
