Bethany's Retreat and Olivia's Haven are a pairing of two wonderful, single-storey holiday lodges that are tucked away just shy of the coast in Wemyss Bay, Inverclyde. These properties offer guests pet-friendly accommodation, a host of on-site amenities as well as exceptional views of the surrounding landscape. Both of these lodges have a spacious, open-plan layout to create an easy flow between the main living spaces which will maximise convenience during your stay. In terms of exploring, the surrounding attractions are aplenty. Any golf enthusiasts won't be short of options, Skelmorlie Golf Club is one course to choose if you fancy a round coupled with stunning views or Gleddoch Country Golf and Spa a short 20 min drive away for a more upmarket experience with driving range. Experience the attractions of Wemyss Bay and beyond during your time at Bethany's Retreat. A short ferry journey will take you to the Isle of Bute where you can visit Mount Stuart, a neo-gothic mansion with stunning architecture, or Rothesay take an open top bus tour of the island stop off and see the golden sands of Ettrick Bay. Head to Battery Park in Gourock for a leisurely wander. Younger and older vacationers alike won't want to miss the excitement at Vikingar! Leisure Centre and Visitor Attraction in Largs, stop off at the world-famous parlour of Nardinis for Ice cream sundaes and delicious food. For sustenance, Inverkip Restaurant, Pub, Bar & Hotel, or visit Scott’s in Largs Yacht Haven, or further out by car or train Coast Restaurant in Langbank with views over the Firth of Clyde all provide a wide array of delicious options to appease the palates of every member of your group. You can continue your tour at the Greenock Cut Visitor Centre, an attraction promising fascinating insight into the area's history. Rothesay Castle is a must-visit for its historical significance and for Castle House Museum, offers an immersion into the local heritage. Slightly further out, you can visit Loch Lomond and take a Sweeney’s Cruise up the Bonnie Banks or find the city of Glasgow which is full of all sorts to get stuck into whether thats local shops and pubs, Botanic Gardens, Glasgow Cathedral, Theatre shows or the impressive and historical Kelvingrove Park.
