The property

Appin, 7.1 miles.

Elleric Pods - The Last Resort is a romantic, single-storey pod nestled in the woodlands of Fasnacloich near Appin, Argyll and Bute.

Far from city noise, the property overlooks a breathtaking Highland view of Glen Creran and is equipped with a TV - ideal for a couple and two dutiful dogs on their Scotland escape.

Enter the property into its open-plan kitchen/dining/living space, hugged in rustic wood décor.

Tuck into meals at the snug breakfast bar, utilising the electric oven, hob, microwave, and fridge, before nursing your coffee on the outdoor decking, where you can watch the sun sink into the glen, as it highlights Highland beauty.

Wash away adventure stamps of dirt in the quaint shower room, before diving into a king-size bed waiting to catch you, as the TV narrates tonight’s bedtime story.

When morning comes, a wealth of walking trails awaits - why not take your four-legged friends to Glasdrum Wood National Nature Reserve, step into a storybook at the Fairy Bridge of Glen Creran, or enjoy a scenic hike to the coastal Jubilee Bridge?

The Isle of Lismore is accessible from Port Appin using a passenger foot ferry.

For a day trip, venture to the port town of Oban and treat the history buff to McCaig’s Tower & Battery Hill, The Dog Stone, Battleship Hill, and Dunollie Museum, Castle, and Grounds.

A short drive to Glencoe offers the Henderson Stone, the Turf House, and the Glencoe Lochan Trail.

Or travel back in time at Fort William, where the West Highland Museum, Cow Hill Viewpoint, and the Old Fort of Fort William itself waits to impress.

Don’t let the name fool you; Elleric Pods - The Last Resort is a first-choice base for a Highland escape.
