  • "We enjoyed our stay in this property."

The facilities provided are numerous and many details provided in the guide. However we found that there were instructions missing for various items such as the air fryer, tv. We found that the lounge suite was very soft and low so once in it was difficult to get up again. That maybe personal choice and perhaps a bit picky but we weren’t able to relax properly. The access to the property is on a farm track with ruts and hollows so needs care. The owners were available by phone which was great and very helpful. Sadly due to various circumstances, we were unable to meet but they were very helpful over the phone.

  • "Lovely and well-equipped cottage with stunning views of the surrounding countryside."

Plenty of amazing walking trails to explore around the area. Bob and Ping were amazing hosts and were available if there were any queries! Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to explore the Trossachs!

  • "Great property."

Very spacious and a lovely location for exploring the beautiful locality. Bob sent excellent directions to the property and was available for contacting throughout the stay and was very friendly and helpful. We managed to leave a rucksack behind and Bob sweetly sent it down after the stay gratis. Thank you Bob!

  • "Great and lovely place to stay!"

The House was clean, everything was prepare and taken care of. Starting with the torch at the key-safe to support late arriving guests, to the firewood to heat the living room. The kitchen was fully equipped, the beds were comfy and we really felt at home for a few days. The only challenge we had was the Scottish rubbish bin concept. We tried our best to comply with it, though

Thankyou for your lovely feedback, it is appreciated. We are so glad to hear that you felt at home and liked the facilities provided. Despite the challengi1ng Scottish bin ruies you did perfectly. Kindest regards Bob and Ping Property Owner

  • "A lovely spacious rural house with big rooms, good level parking, large well-equipped kitchen, great dining room, super lounge with piano and massive TV, good internet, spacious bedrooms and beds, and good access to local attractions."

We climbed Ben Vollich, Ben Ledy, visited the Falls of Leny, took the train to Glenfinnan Viaduct and Mallaig, Rob Roy's grave and viewpoint, local Broch Cafe, Kilmahog beer shop and Woollen Mill, Stirling etc. So much to do but plenty of time to relax as well.

Sheila, A total pleasure meeting you and your family and hosting you for the week. Ping and I are so glad you enjoyed your stay and the facilities. Thankyou for sharing with us that you also enjoyed seeing some of the Perseids meteor shower and the Northern lights. Kindest Regards, Bob and Ping Property Owner

  • "The cottage was clean, homey and amenities stocked."

The owners left very good instructions as well as suggestions for things to do and places nearby to eat. We enjoyed the fresh flowers as well! We thought we may have left our passports there after checkout and Bob, owner, was kind enough to go check for us. The only area of slight discomfort was that the temperature between the lower and upper floors was very different. We would recommend the cottage. The owners were extremely responsive and communications were strong and clear.

Diane, We're delighted to hear that you found the cottage clean, homely, and well-stocked with amenities. It's also good to know that the instructions and local suggestions were helpful. Regarding the temperature difference between the lower and upper floors the radiator balances have been adjusted and we now keep one window in each of the upper bedrooms and the hall Velux windows open on trickle. This should help the upstairs to stay cooler on hot Scottish summer days. Bob was also relieved when you advised that you had found your passports :-) Thank you again for your feedback. Kindest regards, Bob and Ping Property Owner

  • "What a brilliant property to rent (2 adults, teenager and 11 year old)."

Travel and key instructions sent few days before holiday began and property was very easy to find following these (used the what3words). Met by owners on arrival who showed us round the property and how things worked, and they checked everything was fine during the week we were there. Property was clean, well equipped and plenty of space, even the mattresses in all bedrooms were comfortable. Lovely quiet location with such a lovely view from the back garden and was able to use the chiminea provided to toast marshmallows one evening (not the best of weather whilst we were there) and central for our trips out (Oban, Loch Katrine and Bracklin Falls to name a few).

Hello Christine, Thank you so much for your lovely comments. It was our absolute pleasure to meet and host you for the week. You were the first guests to use the chimenea, and we've since added a homemade picnic table as well. We hope to have the pleasure of hosting you again in the future within this beautiful part of The Trossachs and Loch Lomond National Park. Kindest regards, Bob and Ping Property Owner

  • "Lovely house, very spacious and well located for visiting attractions and local walks."

The beds were the most comfortable we've used in a long time and even sorted my back pain ! We're changing our mattress at home now. Bob and Ping were very keen to help and ensure our stay went well. I would certainly recommend it.

Dear Bob, Thank you so much for choosing to stay with us. We were delighted to host you, our very first guests to stay for two weeks. It's wonderful to hear that you found the house lovely and the beds so comfortable. We feel incredibly fortunate to own this property in such a beautiful part of the Trossachs and Loch Lomond National Park. We hope to have the pleasure of hosting you again in the future. All the best, Bob and Ping Property Owner

  • "The place was cold the heating came on randomly, there was open food left in the refrigerator , ashes in the log stove, the kitchen was dirty ( we took pictures) before and after when it was cleaned up."

. no curtains on the bedroom upstairs, when the owner was called he said at least you can see the stars , very disappointing

Dear Nancy, Thank you for your comments – I was surprised to read them today given you said via your email sent on the 24th October `We rented your lovely cottage last week …. Thank you for renting your cottage to us` Given this inconsistent feedback from you I would like to address your public points in order: 1) We saw that during your stay the temperature was generally above 20C. One example is that on 19th October you had the heating on for 9 hours 46 minutes from Midnight with a maximum of 25.3C. I have already sent you an email privately with evidence of this. The temperature in the house was between 20 and 25C round the clock which we haven’t seen with any other guests. 2) Kitchen – I thought I had done a good job to clean the kitchen throughout before you arrived so it would be useful to see your pictures. The butter was left in the fridge on purpose for guests convenience and this gesture has been appreciated previously – sorry to hear you don’t see it in the same way. 3) The ashes in the log burner would not prevent your use. I thought that you would have appreciated that we also dropped off 2 additional large bags of wood which you used up during your stay. 4) The curtains – we don’t have curtains on the velux windows but obviously we do have on the normal windows as shown on the pictures available to you prior to your booking. None of the velux windows are overlooked. I personally like to be able to see the stars on the clear nights and more occasionally the Northern Lights. Despite my personal view, I appreciate your comment and shall install blinds to cater for different guests needs. Other feedback from me: I tried to communicate with you with directions and local information since July but had no responses until one day before your arrival when your friend called my wife. On the arrival day your friend called me about the curtains. Before I could give a full answer to offer any options, he cut me off. I would naturally have offered an option to install blinds but had no chance to say this. Property Owner
