  • "At first I thought that it wasn’t quite like the picture."

Then discovered it was SO MUCH MORE! It was very deceiving! We stayed in THE island View house. It was huge on the inside. There were 6 of us and it was completely spacious and comfortable! Clean! We were at the Steak and Lobster Bistro and everything was EXCELLENT from the appetizers through the desserts. I would highly recommend this place.

  • "This was a birthday treat, our friends arrived before us to collect keys and was told the invoice had not been paid in full which was not the case, this did upset me but thankfully it was rectified."

The house is in a great setting for walking, the bedrooms have lovely comfy beds, sitting room nice for gathering but kitchen can only sit 6 for eating so had to squeeze round for meal times. Overall lovely house could do with a spring clean, dusty skirting boards and cobwebs. Not sure when oven was last cleaned? The patio doors definitely need fixing as they do not lock so for insurance purposes and safety not sure this should be allowed.

  • "The property is supposed to sleep 10, we originally booked for 9."

3 people had to drop out but this was fortunate as it would have been extremely difficult for 7 to have shared the only other bathroom, apart from the en-suite. We could not all have eaten at the dining table and there wasn't enough cutlery. No teaspoons or bottle opener. Very comfortable beds and bedding but the pillows weren't. Loads of towels but no tea towels. I paid nearly £4,000 for this week and don't feel the quality of the accommodation was value for money. We enjoyed our week but have stayed in many Airbnbs in this country and abroad and feel the standard was much higher in their accommodation. The cover was left off the outside cushions so they were soaked when we arrived. We left them out to dry and put them back under cover properly for the next visitors. The sliding door didn't open which meant we couldn't fully enjoy the lounge and had to trek though the kitchen and around the side to get to the hot tub. The place was generally a bit tired and didn't feel luxurious. Quite disappointed really and feel a bit ripped off.

  • "The holiday house was very well equipped with all that was needed."

The road adjacent to the hot tub and front of the house was quite busy felt that the hot tub would have been a bit more private if it had a higher fence just where the hot tub was situated. Very comfortable and lovely house we had a family gathering and would recommend a stay - the area is of great beauty and scenery beautiful. Recommend taking repellent for insects - ie midges they really were the only nuisance in June.

  • "Lovely property with hot tub and sauna, only we weren’t advised that we had to book to use the sauna."

Other than that this is a great property and we had a fantastic stay.
