"This is a brilliant cottage."
It's deceptive from the outside, it looks much smaller. You're greeted with a lovely hamper of bread, eggs, milk, organge, and more. The cottage is clean, tidy and well furnished, with plenty of amenities. The stove powered hot tub is a nice touch, it's lovely for star gazing. There's even some board games and books if you forget to bring any. The cottage is in a wonderful location. There are plenty of walks within 15 minutes. Biggar and West Linton are lovely too. Only 45 minutes from Edinburgh too. Definitely would recommend.

"We really enjoyed our stay, the unique log burner hot tub was amazing, especially once fully heated it then doesn’t take long to heat up again the next day as the cover keeps it warm."
The cottage was lovely and facilities were amazing, we didn’t want for anything. The only small issue we had was the fact the heating is controlled by the owner and they hadn’t allowed it to be used. I know it’s summer still but it was a little chilly on a night and the small electric fires don’t really do much with the open plan living room that has no door to the hallway. It was actually surprisingly colder that it is in England (and we’re from the north) so having the heating option would have been nice just for half an hour to take the nip out of the air.

"The cottage itself was furnished to a high standard."
The AGA oven was a new experience, but we got used to it. Unfortunately it rained heavily whilst we stayed, and we had a day inside playing board games, which was nice. The hamper was lovely and the milk/juice and ice cubes, were a welcomed touch. My only negatives were the darkness and cold! Liked how the history of the cottage was incorporated within the welcome file. Lots of information given. Thank you!

"I would highly recommend this property, it was very clean comfy and cosy and we had a fab holiday."
We arrived to a gorgeous welcome basket which made our day and the hot tub was 10/10. My toddler especially loved the ponies and horses round the corner in the field who she named Pedro Peter and Pesto and I think we will miss going to see them every morning.

Very comfortable and cosy. Nice hamper to arrive to. Enjoyed cooking on the Aga and the wood fired hot tub after a days mountain biking. So many birds to listen to. Ideal location for Peebles and the surrounding area. Would definitely return when we can.

"The WiFi was a bit hit and miss which wouldn't normally have been a problem but our daughter had an online meeting that she was unable to join."
Yes we did switch of and on multiple times. The cottage has a lovely cosy atmosphere with everything you would need and the welcome hamper just made us all smile. Hope to return sometime soon. Thank you.
Sorry to hear the WiFi let you down. Thank you for the feedback. As a result we have added a mobile broadband router to the cottage, so hopefully future guests can stay connected. Hope to see you again soon. Property Owner
