"We had a wonderful short stay here and wanted to say a special thanks for such a warm welcome we received."
The welcome pack was the best we have ever had and was so thoughtful. The extended garden was amazing and whilst the weather wasn’t the best the kids enjoyed every minute. Thank you to Patsy and John for being such wonderful hosts

"A lovely little cottage and the garden is just WOW!"
!! The kids and dog have spent so much time exploring and in the river, even the rain didn't stop us enjoying the garden - plenty of seating areas. The garden is not accessible directly from the cottage, you go through the owners gate at end of drive (there is a small patio attached to cottage) however it is fully enclosed for the dog and kids to fully enjoy, there is also an outdoor toilet in the garden so no need to too and fro to the house, just pack up snacks and towels and all the time can be spent in garden. The owners are lovely and so helpful, leaving us snacks in cottage and bringing more down one evening we were in garden. The owners dogs are kept seperate and the owners were not intrusive at all just left us to enjoy their amazing space. We will definitely be back!
So pleased you, and especially the children had a great time. Look forward to seeing you again in the future. Property Owner

"Had a wonderful stay at this great cottage."
Property had everything we needed and the garden/river areas are amazing. Patsy and John are a very friendly couple who made us very welcome. Lots to see and do in the surrounding area and not too far to visit the north coast. Thanks again to Patsy and John for a great stay, we'll definitely be back. Tony + Debs, Shaun + Shauna.

Pontblyddyn is a small, quaint village resting near Leeswood, between Mold and Wrexham. The village famous for Plas Teg, one of the most important Jacobean-era houses in Wales; this Grade I-listed building was built in 1610 and is considered one of the most haunted houses in Wales. The village also boasts a local pub, The Bridge Inn which serves delicious food, ideal for the nights you don’t fancy cooking, and a local convenience store to stock up on essentials. With the Clwyd mountains on your doorstep and the quiet that Pontblyddyn has to offer, the village offers an idyllic retreat to North Wales, as well as a great base for touring the Snowdonia region and Chester. The historic town of Mold is within easy reach of the village, home to Mold Castle and a variety of cafés, restaurants and bars including The Fat Boar and the Queens Head Inn.
