"The holiday was absolutely perfect."

The only downside was television being unable to connect to streaming services and lacking a HDMI to connect our laptop or firestick.

"We absolutely loved our stay at The Retreat."

The accommodation was modern, clean, and cosy. The location was quiet and secluded which was ideal for relaxing expecially with the wonderful hot tub outside. The bed was so comfortable it was like being in a 5 star hotel. The shower was perfect after a day walking and exploring the countryside. We thought the bread, milk and the little jar of dog treats were a thoughful little touch. The electric fire soon warmed up and made the room cosy and warm. Locally the village of Bangor on Dee is a short walk away which has a village shop and 2 pubs (The Buck and The Royal Oak) We visited both pubs during our stay but it is worth mentioning that The Buck does not serve food on Mondays or Tuesdays and The Royal Oak doesnt open at all on Mondays or Tuesdays. Both pubs are very welcominging and dog friendly. Overall we had a fantastic time at The Retreat and we would definately recommend a stay here. Would we return?....absolutely and we will be booking again sometime soon.

Park off-road in the spaces provided and choose between a spacious home, and two contemporary lodges, each with light and airy living spaces for guests to enjoy. Each property is tastefully outfitted and offers stylish bedrooms, and sleek shower rooms and/or bathrooms. Each property also offers fantastic outdoor spaces, each one with furniture and the added indulgence of a bubbling hot tub.
