  • "Good location for visiting the local area."

A compact, clean, well equipped cottage perfect for a couple. A dog friendly area with good dog walking nearby, as long as you are happy with hills! Local spar, two pubs and a Chinese take away within walking distance. Parking is not an issue. The pub next door was not an issue. Would recommend.

  • "Very poor. When we arrived, fridge didn't work."

When rang owner he didn't even come around. As our food would have been no use, if left, I replaced the fuse myself. This worked. The internet was completely useless. Couldn't get on the net most times & had to go to the pub to use their wi-fi. Tv poor reception. Dishwasher had food stuck almost all the way around the edges. Shortage of amenities. No egg cups. Stair carpet loose and could cause an accident. Squeeky bed. Never saw owner during 2 week stay. Assume he's only after the money not the service. Suggest he get better tv airial and wi-fi All in all, very poor.

many thanks for the feedback, without it we can't make any improvements.weve addressed the Ariel situation which was misaligned and unfortunately ee had a half day outage of WiFi in the area.we value all comments left and appreciate guests taking the time out to let us know what they think and we always act upon them.as we only live 3 minutes away we are always available to pop over at a moments notice if there's any problems as we're very passionate about our cotttage. but can I suggest these comments have been left 20 days after the stay following yesterdays conversation with you about your behaviour towards our lovely neighbour? he's very very upset about what went on.remember we spoke the first day about the fridge actually being switched off at the wall? we can't understand why you immediately booked a second week just a few days into your stay if it was that unsuitable for you without even messaging us to make us aware of any potential issues. therefore can I kindly ask you don't book to stay with us again.we don't welcome bad manners, rudeness nor bitter feedback as a revenge.we have professional cleaners and a maintenance team that keep a close eye on our properties.we don't always get it right but we consider ourselves as down to earth approachable and kind people who are always here,on hand-to make you holiday enjoyable. kind regards. ian ☺️ Property Owner
