  • "Lovely lodge, really cosy and well placed for all the beaches and attractions."

Good facilities, perfect for a family of 6. Only little niggles were the freezer didn’t work and dishwasher kept popping open while running but didn’t really bother us. Would definitely go again

  • "Nice, quiet and family friendly holiday lodge."

Central location to most attractions. Just a couple of recommendations for improvement: - more lighting in the kitchen area - more utensils for comfort (plates, pots, cups, etc) - freezer was not working Otherwise a very nice lodge and will definitely call back again.

  • "This is a really nice lodge and well placed for visiting all major areas and towns in Cornwall."

Whist we really enjoyed the stay and coped without too much trouble, we feel some facilities and provision of kitchen utensils are sadly lacking. Our main issue was the freezer did not work at all when we arrived and all our efforts to get it operational did not work, but we just managed without and did not report it to anyone during the stay. In addition there are very limited cooking utensils for a self catering lodge, not even a bread knife in the kitchen. A few simple additions in the kitchen and provision of shower mats and towel holders in the bathroom and en-suite would be a major improvement, and ensuring all major kitchen appliances are operational prior to guests arriving should be a must. Regards, Gerard & Christine Kehoe

Cheese grater, colander, frying pan, extra cutlery (looks like some bits have been lost) Basic store cupboard stuff like Salk n pepper.

  • "The place is really nice, we are very lucky to have it booked."

Amenities, easy access to where you want to go, either east, west part of Cornwall. What I like most are the elephants seats and the eggs’ honest store. I am looking forward for the old barn next to the 3 lodges converted to a new accommodation for group purposes

  • "Lovely and modern lodge."

Great location. Not suitable for 6 adults, more like 4 adults and 2 ‘small’ children. The twin room is very small, was very difficult for two people to manoeuvre around eachother. Limited things in the kitchen which is ok if you are eating out a lot, not so much if you want to cook every night. Could do with some additional furniture such as bedside tables and lamps in the bedroom and living room. Perfect for a family who just need somewhere to sleep.

  • "A brilliant lodge in a great location."

It seems like the lodge is brand new! Everything was in great condition. The surroundings were great, nice a peaceful and trees all around to make it private even with two other lodges close by. Nice little area for our boy to safely play outside too. The location was great to explore both north and south coasts and very easy access to a30. There could have been a few more things needed on the kitchen, only small things, but guess not many people have been there yet. A lovely lodge! Would go back.
