"Cosy and clean accommodation in a good position for the village."

"We had a lovely stay at Suncroft."

"Suncroft was the perfect for our holiday."
The accommodation was very comfortable, well equipped and smelt so fresh and clean when we arrived. Welcome bottle of wine, milk and dog treats were very much appreciated after a long drive to Port Isaac. The location was great just leaving our car parked on the driveway and walking everywhere to explore the area. Our dog loved playing in the garden while we sat outside enjoying the sunshine. "Really needs a little coffee table found it a bit of a pain getting up to get drinks , i can see others have used arm of sofa and maybe a clock not all of us have our phone glued to our hands !"

"Very comfortable and well equipped, everything I needed for a lovely week in Port Isaac."
I like the fact there is parking and it’s just a short walk to the village and the harbour. Nice seating on the decking, lovely to sit in the afternoon and evening.

"This holiday property is lovely , can’t fault it and we have been coming for years, and we will be back very shortly."
Just one thing and it has nothing to do with the property BUT there seems to be a problem with number 14 opposite and his neighbour with caravan!! He just stood and glared at us when we turned up and they also made it differcult for us to park when we came back after a day out!!

"Loverly accommodation, ideal for two friends and a dog."
Convenient location as long as you don’t mind walking up and down the steep hill into the town, good exercise. Co op just round the corner. Parking for two cars. Cannot fault it.

"Absolutely wonderful accommodation."
All you could possibly need just like a home from home. It’s a lovely area to explore and with all the great facilities in the bungalow you could easily prepare picnics and evening meals. Our daughter has mobility issues so was great being all on one level. As we have a dog it was nice that there was a sizeable totality enclosed back garden. Would highly recommend.

"Very well kept property pleasant surroundings and a very good location."

"We really enjoyed Suncroft, it was a clever use of space."
I would check with the cleaners, the washing up bowl had not been lifted from the sink, when we arrived, as there was lots of sweetcorn in the sink and plug hole and there was a pair of socks under the double bed.
The Wi-Fi was good, as was the parking. The views of Tintagel were amazing at the bottom of the road .
The garden was well kept and the deck chairs were a good addition.
For Sykes, it is probably better listing many restaurants available in the village which is quite steep with no car access, booking is essential and you are paying a premium for food.

"Cottage was located well & garden was a nice area & the parking was a big bonus."
The bathroom was very dated & well overdue an update.
There was barely enough equipment to cook a meal only one tray that was the grill pan to use in the oven. The freezer door was also broken causing the freezer to be iced up. The bread bin was also rusty & didn’t look nice .

"The unadopted road and heavy rain during our stay created a few problems."
The microwave was tired and rusty on the inside.
Bathroom, although clean, needed some TLC. Shower very good.

Tintagel with its legendary ruins, supposedly the birthplace of King Arthur, is easily accessible by car and also houses Merlin’s Cave that overlooks the tranquil beach Tintagel Haven.
The harbour town of Padstow is a short scenic drive from Suncroft, be sure to explore The National Lobster Hatchery which runs tours and a variety of education activities before taking a leisurely stroll around the harbour and indulging in locally caught seafood at Rick Stein or The Seafood.

Polzeath 6.5 miles; Padstow 16 miles
Port Isaac; one of the true Cornish treasures. A beautiful fishing village nestling in a steep sided valley, the old village in the valley remains unchanged from its days of fishing, slate export and smuggling in the previous century. An abundance of small character properties complemented by larger cliff-top retreats, can be found with easy access to the numerous restaurants and shops of the village. The sandy harbour provides an abundance of rock pools as the tide retreats. There is ample parking at the top of the village and the village is a popular tourist destination with plenty of attractions including the dramatic Doyden Castle, the beautiful Lundy Bay and the famous Doc Martin's clinic. There are also plenty of pubs, restaurants, and shops in the village. Just a short drive from the beaches of Polzeath, Daymer and Rock, it is perfect for romantic and family holidays alike.
