  • "A lovely comfy lodge with all we needed in the beautiful surroundings of a quiet park."

A couple of points: The large burner on the hob is producing an incorrect flame because it’s out of shape. The toilet seats both need attention. A parasol for the outside decking would have been much appreciated. The nearby beach is far from easily accessible, thru a field with cows and down a narrow rocky footpath. We had a very relaxing holiday and hope to return.

  • "Lodge 23 was wonderful except for two minor issues 1."

The beds are uncomfortable 2. The outdoor furniture is dated and in need of some TLC/replacement. The lodge is extremely clean inside and all amenities met. The lodge park is in a fantastic location with a nearby village and some great walking routes. Extremely impressed and had a great holiday

Thank you for your lovely review. We are very pleased that you all had a wonderful holiday in our lodge and we have taken onboard your comments about the two minor issues that you have mentioned. It is also nice to hear that you were able to take advantage of some of the many great walks in and around Tintagel. Property Owner

  • "We enjoyed thoroughly our week at 23 Bossiney Bay and cannot fault the general facilities."

The lodge was clean and comfortable and a plessure to 'borrow' for a week. My only suggestion is to invest in better pillows, the ones there are awful, and sort the broadband perhaps by moving it out of a wardrobe in the bedroom.

Thank you for your comments. Unfortunately with so many types of pillows, mattresses and bedding it is extremely difficult to try and accommodate every individual guests requirements and we are sorry that on your visit our pillows were not to your liking. With regards to our WiFi connection we have spoken with our internet provider this morning and can confirm that one of their technicians will be upgrading the parks system on Monday (5th Sept). They have also confirmed that the modems provided on park are fitted into wardrobes, as standard for customers / equipment safety. We are very pleased with your overall scoring and that you thoroughly enjoyed your stay in our lodge. Property Owner

  • "The WiFi was flaky as it was situated in a cupboard."

Moving this to a more open area (e.g. wall or ceiling) would greatly improve the signal strength.

Thank you for your feedback and overall review. Our internet provider will be upgrading the parks WiFi system next week. We are very pleased that you all enjoyed your stay in our lodge and very much look forward to accommodating you the next time you visit Cornwall. Property Owner

About the location

TINTAGEL

Camelford 5.9 miles; Wadebridge 13 miles.

Tintagel, home of the legendary King Arthur’s Castle, whose ruins dominate the cliffside just outside the village, is a popular but not overcrowded tourist destination. The surrounding area is dominated by the sea, rocky coves and stunning scenery. Several beaches, including nearby Trebarwith Strand and Bossiney Cove, are within easy reach and surfing is the main attraction for those who love the water. Tintagel has several pubs and restaurants and the Old Post Office (National Trust) is a must. For the energetic, the South West Coast Path passes through the village and in both directions it winds its way along the cliffs and down to the water’s edge through dramatic countryside. Head north along the path and within a short distance is the beautiful village of Boscastle with its quaint quay and village pubs for refreshment. Further afield are the surfing meccas of Newquay and Bude, with their resort attractions, while the open spaces of Bodmin Moor, the Eden Project, Padstow, Camel Estuary and Port Isaac are all within a short but scenic drive.
