  • "What a wonderful cottage!"

It was such a lovely place and so close to the coast for easy walks. Clean and relaxing cottage, some suggestions to improve would to have more cooking equipment (oven trays/bowls) and general items (pizza slice/large knife set) very basic and no welcome pack or complimentary items (tea/coffee milk) so bring everything you need. Also to have more information in the booklet about the cottage part from wifi code. The heated bath towel doesn't turn off and made the cottage very hot in the day, and unable to open the bedroom patio doors due to no key! Overall we had a fantastic time and the owner was very pleasant and quick to reach if needed. Some little finishing touches would make it so more inviting.

Hi Sam, thankyou for you feedback. The heated towel rail can be turned on and off by guests you just need to turn the switch on or off. We do supply bowls and oven trays, normally plenty for 2 people. The bedroom door as per our conversation is for wheel chair access, there are double patio door in the living room and kitchen which you were able to open and the cottage also has lots of windows so not sure why not being able to use a wheelchair access doorway effected your stay with us. Kind regards Roxy Property Owner

  • "Pleasant accommodation in quiet spot."

Unusually from our experience of this sort of accommodation No welcome, contact or evidence of owner at the beginning or end of our stay only a telephone number. No information on the site, refuse or appliances in the bungalow- more information would have been nice. Would be helpful to allow access for unloading and loading - other vehicles come and go on to the site. All rather impersonal.

  • "Lovely spacious cottage with a sunny, private seating area and a short distance to the path down to the cliff walks and beach."

Tucked away from busy Tintagel yet close enough to walk there for a meal. For further afield the bus stopped at the gate. Had a brilliant walking holiday and clocked up 50 miles in the five days. If you love cliff walks and quiet accommodation this is a perfect base. A free information booklet was provide with information about the area and a half dozen easy to follow walks inside. We did them all and enjoyed every one. Five Stars.

Everything was spotless and adequately equipped. Our only observation was that maybe the frying plan needed replacing. Easy 15 minute walk into Tintagel with pubs/coffee shops now able to open inside (we were there for the first week of opening inside). In a nutshell a very comfortable stay.
