"Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable dans ce logement spacieux, très propre, confortable, avec une belle vue sur le jardin et la campagne."
Idéalement situé pour rayonner dans la Cornouaille. Les propriétaires sont accueillants, charmants, discrets. Nous y retournerions avec plaisir.

"Lovely and quiet, ideal for exploring northern Cornwall and west Devon."
No amenities nearby, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Very clean and you can tell the hosts take pride in the place with fresh cut flowers from the orchard awaiting you on arrival along with a welcome hamper (the homemade jam was very nice!)

"A very warm, welcoming and cosy cottage for our Christmas stay."
It has been upgraded significantly since the pictures were taken, we had a very pleasant winter break in the Cornish countryside. Everything works perfectly, the hosts are very helpful and the place is pristine. I can highly recommend it and we would definitely return in the summer to enjoy the beautiful garden! Thank you Jon and Vi

"The owners were very friendly and the cottage well appointed."
The unreliable wifi was irritating despite being informed of this. We were expecting to be closer to civilisation, especially a local pub. There were no footpaths that we could safely use so did feel a bit stir crazy at times.
-

The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Would highly recommend for a relaxing 'away from it all' holiday.
-
"Very clean and comfortable cottage, lovely garden!"

"A fabulous week in a beautiful well equipped spotless cottage."
The views from the windows are breathtaking. Both the lounge and the bedrooms overlook the gardens and grounds which are absolutely beautiful. Everything you could possibly need is provided in this lovely cottage. Coupled with the friendly host John I must say this exceeded our expectations. Hopefully we will return.

"This place is perfect!"
The setting is simply beautiful, the location is quite easy to find to so close to amazing places to visit. I strongly recommend this place for a base to come back to whilst exploring Cornwall/Devon. Go to Tintagel Castle/Merlin's Cave, Dewerstone Woods, St Necturns Glen, Lanhydrock, etc. and bring back some groceries on the way for a nice home cooked meal. Note that the kitchen is fully kitted with cooking instruments and such!

"We had a lovely holiday using Orchard End as our base."
We enjoyed the beaches at Bude and also explored places like the Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan as these were only an hour away. Cottage was as listed. Clean and spacious, kitchen well equipped. The rest of it was more sparse, probably due to Covid restrictions, but didn't affect our holiday experience.
-
"The property was so peaceful and tranquil."
The owners were friendly and helpful why always following covid rules. The property was clean and well kept.
-
"Good and very quiet and peaceful location, clean and roomy accommodation with lovely views and surrounding."
Any issues were addressed quickly, light bulb changed, tap that stopped working fixed. Would be more that happy to stay again if in the Cornwall Devon boulder area.

"Wonderful location, fabulous grounds and farmland, great views and countryside all around."
Kitchen utensils & crockery exactly what we needed; cosy and well heated; quiet and peaceful, friendly and approachable hosts. Wifi is not very good but it did work with one or two short breaks (which is just part of being in this location I expect) and we did have some phone signal.

"Cottage very well equipped, everything you could need & more, clean & tidy and comfortable, exactly like home."
The 'personal touch' shone through. Beautiful area, scenery and gardens & views to wake up to. Very relaxing. Photos don't do justice. Owners very welcoming & friendly.Highly recommend Orchard Cottage. Didn't want to come home!Would love to go back there again.

"Superior accommodation unspoiled views."
would recommend this as a place to stay. can't wait to go back.

"Cottage was peaceful, clean, and well equipped with wonderful views."
The owners were friendly and on hand in case of any problems. Our only one was that at first we couldn't get Wi-Fi but it was soon sorted. If you didn't fancy going far there's a lovely walk down to the river, or we found a stroll round the village after supper enjoyable - the church has a wonderful graveyard with stones going back to the 1700s. There's so much to do quite close. Both Dartmoor and Bodmin, but the beaches are also not far - although we were there for Moor walking really so didn't get to the coast. We did visit the Otter Sanctuary and Davidstow Airfield Museum, both we would highly recommend. Our four night stay was just perfect and we would highly recommend the property. OK is this too good to be true? Here we go then I've found a moan ....... The very hard British Isles Jigsaw has a corner piece missing!!!!!!!

It was ideal for discovering North Cornwall. Absolutely ideal for the style of break we needed.

"In addition to all the good points there was an issues with the boiler, but the landlords attended to this immediately and resolved the problem straight away."
Perfect response.

"Our stay at Orchard End was brilliant."
The cottage was very comfortable, very clean and well equipped. The owners were really pleasant with a warm reception on arrival and the welcome pack and supplies were fabulous, nothing was too much trouble. In a lovely location for piece and quiet and within easy reach of many of Cornwalls attractions and coast lines. We would recommend Orchard End for a holiday break and would love to return in the near future.
