  • "Our sat nav took us slightly away from swallows nest but found it quite quickly."

Arrived to a lovely cottage. Parking at the door, lovely large garden with table and chairs, and sheep in the field behind. Ann the owner was there to welcome us, everything there and sweet Williams and chocolate biscuits on the table. A very spacious cottage, with all facilities you require and comfortable bed. It's tucked away in the countryside but really central for so many places, walking, towns, seaside and golf. It was our anniversary while we were there and Ann thoughtfully got us a card and some lovely chrysanthemums. All in all a great place to stay and perfect owners right there on the doorstep. Weather was spot on also

  • "The photos don't really do the cottage justice - it was much more cosy and lovely than we expected."

The heating worked very quickly, the open plan space was lovely and very functional, especially for a family with children. It was lovely that the lounge opened out onto the garden - although we didn't really get to enjoy the garden as it rained a lot, it's such a big space and would be so nice to sit out in. The kitchen had all you need in terms of equipment. The owner was so so nice and friendly. We would definitely stay again!!

  • "Wi fi was not great in the cottage."

Only worked when in the bedrooms. It would benefit greatly from a plug-in WiFi booster linked to the BT Hub which I I think is situated in the adjacent cottage. Not expensive or difficult to install but would make a big difference.

Beautiful fresh flowers on arrival along with fresh milk and a delicious cake! Kids loved the freedom of the garden with the added bonus of beautiful Cornish sunshine. Lovely and quiet location close to Tintagel and Bude’s beautiful beach. So nice to have some sort of normality in what’s been a very strange 2020!
