• "Absolutely loved our stay, what a beautiful apartment that is a home from home, kitchen so well equipped, views to die for, and very comfy beds, loved the power shower, but note, door needs a look at, not closing properly, it was fine, but could be a issue, also code for car entrance was incorrect, on form, took us a while to figure it out, we loved it so much we stayed extra 2 nights, couch was so comfy, note again, would of loved a bigger television, saying that , we will be back, we absolutely loved it."

• "Spacious and airy living, great views, well equipped kitchen, lovely linen and bathrobes."

  Loved the take home tote bag too! Liquid for the washing machine would have been helpful and the gate codes in the arrival instructions were incorrect. Otherwise a lovely stay thank you.

  It’s a perfect location and the apartment is lovely with stunning views. Thank you for the apple juice and cookies. The only point I would make is I could not find the code to the bin cupboard so we had to ask another guest. I would highly recommend Mid Air and would certainly book again if we were in the area again.

• "Outside area was filthy no parasol windows dirty kitchen had limited crockery the ensuite sink still had a hairline crack in it which was there last year !"

  ! Shower doors do not close properly again same as last year the whole property seemed very tired and in need of an upgrade considering the fee it lacked the luxury element we will not return

  Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback after your stay. We are disappointed to hear of the points raised but would like to assure you we have been in contact with the Housekeeper of the property to ensure these are resolved going forward. The windows of the property were due to be cleaned during your stay, however we understand you requested this did not occur, therefore this was organised at the next available opportunity on your departure. Parasols are not provided for this top floor property due to the gusts and winds that can be experienced as part of the development being situated so close to the coast and seafront. Glasses and crockery are provided for six guests, despite the property sleeping four. This is to ensure there are spare supplies should this be required for our guests during your stay. We understand you spoke with the Housekeeper during your stay at Mid Air and no issue were raised at the time. We would like to remind you that we are available in the office from 9am to 5:30pm Monday to Saturday should you have any questions or queries and we will always do our very best to resolve these as quickly as possible. • "We were very happy with our Christmas week at Mid Air."

  The apartment was very spacious and comfortable, with wonderful views over the bay to St Ives. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen well-appointed for the occasions when we wanted to cook. It's a great location for picking up the coastal path to Hayle (East) or St Ives, and just a few minutes’ walk from the train station. Overall, we could not fault the property and would happily book again.

• "Crack in en-suite hand basin Clearer labelling for recycling area for ALL Sands apartments."

  Too much waste gets thrown away & not recycled. A good example is food waste. Is this recycleable anywhere? Otherwise all first class as usual

  I would just point that there is now Apple TV unless you have your own log in and I feel that should be made clear as it’s misleading in the information. We did also inform sykes on our return that someone needs to look into the issue of an insect called silver fish. We notice about 10. After some research it says they like damp environments. So hopefully the appropriate measures have been taken. Having said that we would book again.

• "There were one or two minor issues that did not affect our stay or deter us from future stays, for example the bedroom door latches were not working properly and they continued to slam loudly and an under cupboard lamp was not working."

  Minor matters, but I feel it would be helpful to report. The most significant issue which caused me some distress, was the Internet provision. A very old Apple router which was at best slow and on the Tuesday of our stay, we had no Internet provision at all for much of the day. I do need the Internet while on holiday because of my charity work and the need to use Zoom efficiently, to that end. If this could be sorted then I would like to book a further holiday at Mid Air next year.

  Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback and comments following your stay at Mid Air. We are saddened to hear that you have had difficulties with the internet and have come across two other minor maintenance issues. We have now been informed that the internet problem was an Openreach issue which has affected the whole of The Sands apartment complex and neighbouring properties and has been fixed the day after it occurred. With regards to the router, I have been advised by the housekeeper that this transfers 40 MB of data, which is average to fast speed. We have reported the door latches and the under cupboard lamp to our Property Management Team who will look into resolving these issues going forward. We want to apologise for any inconvenience caused. We also want to let you know that we are always available to help under the number 01736 630015, option 2 and would do our best to resolve any issues encountered during your say as soon as possible, when approached. We are very pleased to hear that your stay has not been affected by this too much and therefore hope you still had a lovely holiday time. • "Beautiful apartment."

  Have visited many times. We did notice the central heating boiler was very noisy on occasions and as it is outside the bedrooms it did wake us up. Perhaps it needs looking at? No hesitation recommending the apartment though as it is so comfortable.

• "An absolutely magical stay, Mid Air was top class & the view when walking into the property was breathtaking."

  A very high standard was present throughout the spacious apartment and a lovely welcome pack was a really nice touch . Our children both felt really at home there straight away and slept liked logs after a fun packed day on the beautiful, safe Carbis Bay, which is literally a few minutes walk down the bank . Perfectly located to easily catch the train into St Ives, which added an exciting element to our stay . We fell in love with the luxurious Mid Air & also Carbis Bay. We cannot wait to return!

• "Excellent apartment with views over the bay to st Ives."

  Close to the local station but the hill is quite steep for anyone with walking difficulties. There is a station car park but it can get busy in high season. We took a taxi into St Ives on our last evening (Porthmeor restaurant) and for the 4 of us was less than £10 each way - cheaper than a bus.

• "We have stayed many times at mid air."

  Beautiful apartment with lovely views. It’s always spotless and very comfortable. I know there have been a few comments about the sofas and they do loose a lot of feathers but they are comfortable. I do think though if you had mobility issues they would be very hard to get out of! We still love this apartment and will continue to return.

• "Wow, exceeded all expectations, the view and location are fantastic."

  Only very minor criticism would be to 2 very large sofas, not the most comfortable for sitting at and maybe a larger main tv due to the size of the room, but you have to remember you are on holiday. Railway station only 5 minutes away, downhill, but the hill is worthy of noting for the elderly. Apartment very well fitted out with everything that was expected. Would highly recommend.

• "This is an amazing apartment with AMAZING views,we absolutely loved it and would love to go back again."

  However the sofas are so uncomfortable and impossible for me and my husband to sit on, if there hadn’t been the other chairs we would have had to sit in the dining chairs all week.we are in our seventies though , I am sure youngsters wouldn’t have a problem Also I would have liked to know that the telescope doesn’t work as I didn’t take my binoculars with me as thought It would be better. This is only constructive criticism though just a couple of issues that would make Mid Air perfect for all .
