  • "We really enjoyed our stay at Seascape."

A very well-equipped apartment with amazing sea views. The place was very clean, and spacious for a family of 4. Just a short walk down to the beautiful beach (if you don't mind a steep climb back up!) and a quick train journey to St Ives. We would love to stay there again!

Thank you for your feedback we are pleased to see that you enjoyed your stay. We look forward to seeing you again in the near future. Warm regards, Carbis Bay Holidays Team. Property Owner

From lazing on the beach, to going on a boat trip to see the seals, to visiting St Michael's Mount, to viewing the sunset at Porthmeor Beach, to exploring the shipwreck at Land's End. Lovely location and a great apartment to come home to at the end of the day. Thanks!

  • "Seascape is a fantastic split level apartment."

It is spotlessly clean and is luxuriously appointed. The view from the balcony is outstanding, and a lovely sight when you look out whatever time of day. It is fully equipped with everything you need and more. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious, and very comfortable. The apartment is a stone's throw from Carbis bay train station, which gives easy access to St. Ives and St Earth. Even though the station is so close, the train service does not disturb you. It only costs £1 each way. The apartment is a credit to the owner. If we ever come to Carbis bay again, this will be our first choice of accommodation. The only very minor negative point that I would say, is that the sofa is not the most comfortable.

Thank you for taking time to give us feedback after your stay. We are pleased that this is your first choice of accommodation and look forward to welcoming you back again in the near future. Kind regards Carbis Bay Holidays Team. Property Owner

  • "Firstly Wow what a beautiful view from the balcony!"

This is a fantastic property. Accomodation is very well equipped & was spotlessly clean on arrival. Great Location, only a short walk to the beautiful Carbis Bay beach or local restaurants. A special mention for the Italian Romano's. We visited twice & it was amazing!! Also had fish & chips from Beck's which was an experience in itself!!. We used the Tesco store for anything we required during our stay. You can walk to it or is a very short trip in the car. There is also a Costcutter that is slightly closer. The train station is a very short walk from the apartment. It is a very scenic journey into St Ives ( which is a lovely place to visit) & they run every 30 minutes. We also visited Eden Project, St Michael's Mount, Sennon Cove & walk to Lands End. All were very enjoyable & great days out. We really enjoyed our week away in Cornwall. It was truely fabulous & Seascape was just perfect for us.

We are pleased to see that you enjoyed your stay and that the property was fantastic. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back again in the near future. Kindest regards, Carbis Bay Holidays Team. Property Owner

Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased to see that the property was beautiful and that this is the best self catering you have stayed in. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back again in the near future. Warmest regards, Carbis Bay Holidays Team. Property Owner

  • "Everything was excellent and the cleanliness was much better than our stay last October 2022."

The only thing we struggle with is the sofa and chairs inside the property for relaxing. They are not very comfortable for sitting for any length of time, such as watching a film etc and that is a shame if you happen to have a bad weather week which means you are spending more time in the apartment than you would normally or like us who don't stay out till late at night.

Thank you very much for taking the time to leave feedback and comments following your stay at Seascape and we are thrilled to see that you rated the property so high in regards to cleanliness, facilities and maintenance and accuracy of the listing. We are sorry to hear the sofa and chairs were not to your liking. Unfortunately this is very much down to personal preference and we will leave this to the consideration of the owner. We thank you again for your lovely feedback and hope to get the opportunity to welcome you back in the future. With Kind Regards, The Carbis Bay Holidays Team Property Owner

  • "We had a wonderful stay at Seascape."

The apartment was absolutely spotlessly clean, everything was exactly as it was in the pictures. It had everything you could possibly need ,including some welcome goodies, such as milk and biscuits to cling film and tupperware storage boxes. It was lovely and quiet, the view is amazing and it is situated in a perfect spot for visiting lots of different places around the area. It is in quite a hilly area so walking is not for the faint hearted and the most direct walk from to and from the beach is more than a steep climb ,so probably not doable carrying beach chairs etc ( of which there are 2 provided at the apartment ,and a windbreak,no umbrella ) it was a scramble over rocks as many Cornwall beaches are, there is a longer walk but again very steep. It is a lovely small beach but the only direct access is from Carbis Beach hotel , there is some parking ,but it was £15 a day (2023) Very easy access to St Ives via the train which is literally a stones throw away and cost £1,you could hear the train from the apartment with the windows/doors open but it never bothered us.You can get the train to Penzance too,we ran out of time so didn't get that far. The whole process from booking to handing back the keys was very smooth We genuinely can't find any fault with the apartment itself , would highly recommend it.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such lovely feedback after your stay in Seascape. We are so pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay and look forward to welcoming you back to Cornwall in the near future. Best wishes, The Carbis Bay Holidays Team. Property Owner

  • "This is a fantastic property, which is really well equipped and is so spacious."

The view of St Ives from the living room is incredible and well worth the cost in itself. The Sky TV and PS4 (not things we have at home) were very welcome for entertaining the kids when we were packing up for the day. Our only real gripe was with the en-suite shower, which was boiling hot most of the time, even when set to the coldest temperature, so showers were brief! Only a minor issue really and it wouldn’t put us off staying again. The location is ideal. It’s a 2-3 minute walk to the station and then a 3 minute train journey to St Ives, so no need to go through the stress of driving in St Ives. You can also be on Carbis Bay beach in about 5 minutes, but just watch out for steep climb down and then back up. Well worth the effort though! Carbis Bay is well situated generally. We got to Marzion (St Michael’s mount) is about 15 mins, and then Lands End in about half an hour. This is during the August school holidays as well. We’d definitely return and stay in this property again.

Thank you for your wonderful feedback. We are thrilled to hear that you loved the property, the area and your stay! We are happy to advise that this has been looked into and rectified! Thank you so much again for your comments and we look forward to the opportunity to welcome you back in the future. Kinds Regards, The Carbis Bay Holidays Team Property Owner

  • "Fantastic break."

Extremely impressed as soon as we arrived, one of the cleanest holiday rentals I’ve ever stayed in. Couldn’t fault anything with the apartment, we were provided with more than I expected, an abundance of towels, a handful of cleaning products under the sink, a pint of milk, windbreakers in the cupboard and even a bucket and spade to borrow for the beach! The only downside I can think of is the area, it’s lovely and quiet but if you want to visit Carbis beach you better be fit, the hill to walk up and down is very very steep, so make sure you’ve got the fridge stocked up for a well deserved drink when you get back. Although due to the hilly nature of Carbis bay that means you get a gorgeous view from the balcony over the bay and out to St Ives.

Dear Ms. Burton, Thank you for taking the time to get your feedback to us. Its lovely to hear you had a wonderful stay at Seascape. We couldn't have said it better ourselves regarding the terrain; the views are most definitely a benefit. Gone up by nearly a third so unfortunately I won’t re-book for next year.

Hi Hayley, Thank you ever so much for your feedback, we are glad you had such a lovely time. Regarding the prices for next year, we are seeing unprecedented demand for holidays in our beautiful county of Cornwall and along with increases on costs our rental prices our under constant review. Our aim is to remain competitive in the market and continue to offer 5* accommodation such as Seascape. There is also a very high labour shortage at the moment which is driving prices as well as demand as the cost of keeping the properties cleaned and maintained has unfortunately risen by quite a high percentage. We have fed your points back to the owner as all feedback is valid and important to us. Kind regards, Carbis Bay Holidays Property Owner

Dear James, Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback following your recent stay at Seascape and I am pleased to hear the apartment was comfortable and in a nice location. With regards to the pricing, this has been set due to the demand for holidays and properties in St Ives and Carbis Bay for 2022, however they are constantly being monitored and reviewed by our owners and here in the local Carbis Bay Holiday's office as a team. I am sorry to hear you felt customer service was not as good, however I am pleased to advise since your stay we have updated out phone lines and in future when you are staying, if you need to contact us you will be able to be put through to our local office in, Carbis Bay where the original Carbis Bay Holidays team will be able to assist you.
