    The coffee machine was broken the entire time we we there (we reported it broken on day 2 of our holiday when it was taken away) The hot water stopped working whilst we were there but thankfully it was fixed within 24 hours Weeds around the property Outside windows needed repainting Carpet lost tread in main living areas Just needs some TLC

  • "Our slice of “heaven”."

    Perfect in every way possible. All the small kind thoughtful touches received in this apartment were second to none! Upon arrival a welcome drink of tea was just what we needed. A private sunning area for the afternoon sun was so relaxing. The beds were so comfortable(hotel quality) and luxury towels also provided. We absolutely loved our stay here wanted to stay longer but was booked up. Will definitely be back great location. Thank you to the owners for providing excellent accommodation ( wish it was mine)

    Top quality fixtures and fittings. A gorgeous view from the patio area of Carbis Bay. The apartment is very well sited to all amenities. The carpark is secure as are the apartments. We loved every minute. It was a pleasure to stay there.

Perched near the coast in Carbis Bay, Cornwall is this superb, ground-floor apartment of Sky.

Showcasing contemporary décor throughout and enjoying enviable sea views, Sky is the perfect dwelling for a family of four wanting to escape to the seaside.

As you enter the property you will find a fabulously decorated open-plan living space, which enjoys a great outlook of the sea and offers everything you need for a self-catering stay.

Grab a seat on the plush sofa and switch on the Apple TV, Netflix or Prime to stream your favourite movie.

When you're feeling peckish, continue to the impressive kitchen, a space featuring minimalistic, white units that house integrated appliances, including a dishwasher and washer/dryer; so the chef of the group can rustle up meals with style!

Just in front of the kitchen is a charming dining area that seats all the family, so you can enjoy a meal and catch up on those seaside adventures together.

As the day winds to a close, move through the apartment to discover two well-appointed bedrooms, with one being a super-king-size which can be separated into twin beds, and the other being a king-size benefiting from its own en-suite shower room; both bedrooms host TVs, so you can enjoy some late-night viewing from the comfort of your bed.

The family bathroom is situated close by and is a lovely spot for a moment of peace and quiet amongst the bath's bubbles.

The property has access to multiple outdoor spaces, so you can easily enjoy the panoramic views and soak up the sea air; one of these sits at the rear of the property and is a secluded terrace, the other is a front patio which enjoys access to a luscious, shared lawn and views of the distant St Ives.

Walk a short distance into the centre of Carbis Bay to come across its renowned beach, packed with watersports opportunities and resting next to a popular spa, along with a handful of fantastic amenities, including The Bean Inn, The Cornish Arms and an amply-stocked convenience store.

Get to know the area further by exploring the nearby nature reserve of Steeple Wood, embark on the South Western Coastal Path to the quaint Carrack Gardens, or hike in the opposite direction to Porthminster point.

Further along the coast lies the picturesque town of St Ives, where a vibrant art community awaits, with the Tate and Barbara Hepworth Museum being places of interest, as well as a picture-postcard harbour and ample beaches nestled around the lively town.

Just a short drive from iconic St Ives, the seaside village of Carbis Bay is best-known for its beautiful stretch of pure white sand. With turquoise waters and sheltered conditions, the beach feels almost subtropical and is the perfect spot for a good old-fashioned day by the sea. The beach is also home to the Ocean Sports Centre, so if sunbathing is not really your thing, why not hire a kayak or SUP and get out on the water instead. Or why not treat yourself to a Spa day at the delightful hotel which overlooks the beach and has a fabulous terrace where cocktails can be enjoyed in the Cornish sunshine? Carbis Bay has a small range of local shops and restaurants as well as a fish & chip takeaway and railway branch line. The train journey from Carbis Bay into St Ives is perhaps one of the most beautiful in the country; St Ives additionally makes for a great day out, with plenty of galleries to explore. The quayside town of Hayle also isn't far and is home to activities for the all the family, including a golf and a wildlife sanctuary. The Godrevy Nature Reserve and Penwith Heritage Coast are also within easy reach from Carbis Bay, providing outdoors and watersports plans with even more activities to partake in, including coasteering and birdwatching.
