  • "Wow what a place."

The location of this apartment is so perfect we didn’t use the car at all. We used the app just park to rent a car parking spot on someone’s drive and that solved the parking issues. The apartment was spotless and well equipped with everything we could ever have needed and more. We will be returning next year and feel so sad to of left - our best family holiday by far.

Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback after your stay. We are pleased to see that the apartment was perfect. We look forward to seeing you again in the near future. Kindest regards Carbis Bay Holidays Team. Property Owner

  • "This property is probably one of my favourite places we've stayed."

It looks as though it has been recently renovated and it is incredibly well thought out for guests. It has, in my opinion, all the facilities you need for a comfortable and easy stay. With an easy walk to town (easy as in close, it is very hilly but we had no issues with the pram if you're happy to pick it up for stairs etc). We also had our two year old with us and it felt safe, and worked very well with the bunk bed room. The balcony and view is just phenomenal, it is obviously the highlight. It really is on the beach, and the sound of waves through the apartment will send you into a lovely lull of a sleep and it is very relaxing watching the waves, which when the tide is in, feels as though it engulfs the apartment. It's very special. We went in May, when we had a very small pocket of good weather (ie. no rain!) and it was still very pleasant. My son enjoyed the beach and the gate is directly under the property, with a little well to wash off the sand on your feet by the stairs, so was easy to go back and forth. I would think if we went in the height of summer, it would be even more unbelievable. If it wasn't such a drive away, I think I would have booked for next month already! There were two negatives which would be no parking but even then, there is room to unload and the car park is not far of a walk. It cost us £27 for 7 days at the long stay car park. I saw another review mention a broom for sand, there was a little hoover but yes, a broom with a dustpan would be incredibly helpful and is definitely needed. But these negatives, in my opinion, will not deter another visit and are incredibly minor.

Thank you for your feedback, we are glad to see that this is one of your favourite places to stay. We shall look into the points you have raised for future improvements. We look forward to seeing you again in the near future. Warmest regards, Carbis Bay Holidays Team. Property Owner

  • "Fantastic property with stunning views, the only downfall was the problems we encountered in getting to the property by car, parking to unload was tricky, and forward booking of the Island Car park did not guarantee a space."

Overall excellent property that was expertly designed, but we should have spent more time with homework on Google maps. If we did return would most likely go by train and cab.

Thank you for your feedback we are pleased to see that the property was excellent. We look forward to welcoming you back in the near future. Kind regards, Carbis Bay Holidays Team. Property Owner

  • "Under-floor heating didn't work the radiators only tepid even on maximum number 5"

The heating system at Louie’s Loft is without fault, only 11 months old and has both gas central heating and electric underfloor heating, making it capable of comfortably heating a property twice its size. It would have been better if instead of contacting Carbis Bay Holidays after you left the property (in an attempt to get a substantial discount), you phoned them when you first arrived so they could have then sent a member of their team to show you how to adjust the heating, even though it is clearly shown in the owners handbook. We are disappointed it spoiled your stay, but this wouldn’t have happened if you had contacted the holiday company in the first place. Kind regards, The Property Owner Property Owner
