• "Our second year back at Atlantic Surf and loved every minute of it!"

  ! Great property, great location and beautiful views from the bedrooms. Such a pleasant little cul de sac and very quiet. It works as a great base to visit other towns and beaches from, and the added bonus it’s a couple of minutes walk to the train station so getting into St Ives at night is hassle free for tea and a walk about. The property also offers excellent utensils for cooking so for us it’s 10 out 10 for Atlantic Surf.

• "The property has a good location in a quiet close."

  A short walk to the beach and south west coast path. A large and spacious house, very comfortable and well equipped, everything that you need. The fittings and equipment are of a high standard and the property was very clean. The garden is private and good to sit in. We enjoyed our stay in Atlantic Surf - thank you.

• "Would definitely recommend Atlantic Surf."

  Lovely location, sea views from 2 of the bedrooms. Spacious. Home from home. Well stocked kitchen, everything thought of. There were only 3 of us staying. Used the downstairs shower room, which could do with a blind at the window. As the boiler is so far from all of the taps, hot water did take a while to come through even to the kitchen and downstairs shower room. We did not use the ensuite, due to its compact size. The upstairs basin took a while to produce warm/hot water. Some larger cushions, as someone suggested in the guest book, would be a good idea too. All in all would definitely return. The location was ideal. Visited Cornwall many times over the past years so access to any coast from Atlantic Surf is easy. Wouldn't hesitate in booking again. • "Lovely spacious property with everything you need."

  Only negatives were the size & functionality of the ensuite and the comfiness of the lounge which would benefit from bigger cushions. Location was perfect for exploring cornwall.

• "The property was tastefully furnished and presented to a high standard throughout."

  The house was immaculately clean upon arrival and the extra touches to welcome guests had been carefully considered and were a lovely touch. The kitchen was the best equipped place I have ever stayed in. Overall, a fabulous holiday home.

• "Absolutely loved the property it’s location was perfect in proximity to the beach and train station and located in a quiet cul de sac also it was a lot bigger in person compared to the photographs which was a good surprise not that it looked small to begin with."

  Well equipped and the garage was a real bonus for storing wetsuits etc. Really well presented throughout and the small lounge and tv packages were perfect for the kids at night. Would definitely book again at its present standard.

• "We had an amazing time at Atlantic Surf!"

  The house was absolutely immaculate and smelt lovely as soon as we walked in. All the added extras for when we arrived was a lovely touch. Great location too. The only issues we had was, there was utensils for everything, but no cutlery! And we couldn't get the bath to work so had to use the shower head to fill it! This didn't impact our holiday but we would like the owners to know as I'm sure this will be rectified for future guests.

We are sorry to hear you were unable to locate the cutlery in the property, but are pleased to inform you that there is cutlery stored in the drawer beneath the cooker. • "Lovely peaceful and extremely well equipped property, our 2nd stay as so good."

  As a side note, there seemed to be historic water damage to ceiling in tv snug which we assume owner is already aware of. Would certainly stay there again.

• "The position of the property for us was perfect as it was great to walk for a coffee first thing in the morning and then onto the wonderful St Ives, never needed to use the car all week which for us was great."

  Ample space for a family of five and very well equipped - it had everything we needed and more. Also had great outdoor space and easy access garage, and very convenient parking on the driveway. We would highly recommend and would like to return ourselves.

• "Spacious, very comfortable and well equipped property in a fabulous location."

  The home is exactly as described on the website but still doesn't give the place justice. The only slight downfall is the late check in as 4pm is quite late when you are travelling a long way and you have to find somewhere / something to do if you arrive early.

• "What an amazing house."

  Every comfort. Only complaint would be not having PIN for the Sky. As we were all adults... The watershed didn't apply and everything was unwatchable until 9pm. But thoroughly enjoyed our week. Would highly recommend Atlantic Surf to anyone. Will be back.

• "We were delighted with the property."

  It was so well furnished with everything you could possibly need for a self catering holiday. The quality of everything was outstanding. Beds and pillows really comfortable. Our children and grand daughter liked the little snug and playing games on the PS4. The house was really quiet and well situated for walking up to restaurants like La Casitas, The Gannet Inn, and a short drive or longer walk to Becks Fish and chip restaurant. We could easily walk down to the station to catch the train into St Ives and walk on further down to the glorious beach and restaurants belonging to Carbis Bay Hotel. Weather was mainly dry and we thoroughly enjoyed our family holiday. I would just make one recommendation which would be to put a wardrobe rather than a hanging rail in the single bedroom. I am sure we will return one day.

  Cannot believe the increase in price though for same week next year. Over double. That is taking advantage of the current situation which I think is terrible.

• "Atlantic Surf in Carbis Bay was a great place to stay: proximity to the beach, off road parking, short walk to shop, garden to play in, tastefully furnished, spacious, well equipped."

  It ticked all of our boxes for what we look for in a holiday home, and given its location in the beautiful Carbis Bay, we decided after a few days that we would definitely come back, and went online to book Atlantic Surf again for next year. To our dismay and shock, though, we discovered that the price had gone up by 45% for the same 2 weeks next year. We felt we paid a premium rate this year and the house certainly was worth that. At over £5300 for the same two weeks (one night less actually...) next year, we sadly won't be returning. Such a shame. Will have to look elsewhere.

• ""The house was very spacious and the furnishing were of the highest standard."

  The kitchen was equipped with everything you might need including lots of crockery and cutlery. This meant that the dishwasher could be used and we weren't regularly washing up due to lack of mugs etc. Plenty of parking space was an added bonus."
