  • "This holiday apartment was in an ideal location for our stay in Carbis Bay."

    Everything worked well and was of a very high standard, it was well equipped with a lovely welcome pack of bread, butter and milk. There was a parking space and plenty of buses nearby. We would definitely like to stay again.

  • "Really great stay at Azure."

    Very well situated for exploring Carbis Bay, St Ives and the surrounding area (train station and bus stops are a short walk from the property). The property was clean, comfortable and well appointed. The welcome hamper was very much appreciated on arrival. You can just glimpse the sea from the balcony, Carbis Bay beach is beautiful and worth a visit with good walks and excellent views. Communication from the owner was excellent and the quick phonecall prior to our arrival was a lovely gesture. Would absolutely recommend a stay as Azure and will be back. Thank you

  • "Beautiful apartment very clean well equipped."

    The welcome pack was a lovely touch and very much appreciated. Thank you Our only criticism would be the shower fixed head for water flow and no where for you to put your shower gel shampoo etc. in the shower . But this would not put me off staying there again just an observation.

  • "Very clean and well-managed."

    Equipment and furnishings first rate. Bedroom , although comfortable , would benefit from a second bedside lamp. Good location especially if you make use of convenient buses and trains - better to leave the car parked up with St Ives so busy.

  • "A lovely property, good location and near to public transport."

    Well equiped in the flat and a fabulous welcome pack that was delicious and much appreciated! Two excellent eateries within 2 and 5 minute walk - Becks fish and chips and La Casita. My only small gripe was the mattress, which was extremely soft and not to my liking. Overall a lovely break, thank you!

  • "Enjoyable stay in a very well appointed apartment."

    Ideally located for the beach, train station and other amenities. Having an allocated parking space so close to the apartment was a real plus. The welcome pack was a very nice touch and really appreciated after a long journey. Excellent communication from Stuart who was always on hand to answer any queries we had. Would definitely stay here again it's been great.

  • "We liked location, car parking, kitchen appliances, welcome pack, fish & chip shop, restaurant and bus service all within short walk."

    We disliked: 1) bathroom shelf over basin which severely limited space over basin, making use very difficult and safety hazard to head - e.g. when cleaning teeth. (Hazard note left for cleaner to inform owner.) (replace with different shelf in space away from basin?) 2) Height of table too high in relation to chairs making its use for meals uncomfortable. (replace with table correctly suited to chair height?) 3) Lack of one bedside table for night bedside stuff. (2nd bedside table?) 4) Interior door closers very strong, preventing airing of apartment, and difficult to open. (door wedges?) 5) Unable to find stated short 0.5 mile walk to beach. (provide instructions?) 6) Not clear from advert that only access stairway is exterior metal stairway.

We note your comments about the position of the shelf in the bathroom and we will explore whether there are other options without limiting storage space. Unfortunately, the internal doors are fire doors as required by Building Regulations and we would not be allowed to supply wedges. We will also look to update the listing so that it is clearer about access via the exterior stairway. In the meantime, we hope that we will be able to welcome you back again in the future.   • "Amazing apartment with everything you need for a holiday in Cornwall I honestly couldn’t fault the apartment it was such a fabulous space we loved every second, it was really clean, and very well equipped, the bed was really comfy and the furnishings were modern and stylish, just perfect for two people."

  • "Bathroom sink was a bit small for getting washed in."

    Outside the property there was a bad smell coming from the drains, we couldn’t open our patio doors because of this.

  • "Azure is a lovely property in Carbis bay and is quite central for getting out and about."

    There are lots of lovely eating places around to enjoy as well. Everything you need is at the apartment, it's very cosy and the bed is very comfortable. Highly recommend it. But please remove the shelf above the bathroom sink, it makes it very awkward to use the sink.

  • "A perfect apartment with all the home comforts in tip top condition."

    Really comfortable bed and settees combined with a great location made this the perfect base for our week away. Welcome items very welcome indeed as we arrived very late and shops had closed. All in all i cant find fault and would highly recommend Azure. Communication with owner was very courteous and we will stay again for sure.

  • "Kitchen appliances excellent."

    Amazed at quantity of crockery, cutlery, mugs and glasses provided. Good sized living area. Comfortable bed and very efficient shower. Felt a proper table and dining chairs would have been superior and safer than the silly stools and folding table provided. The two seater couch was too small for two people to relax in. A matching armchair would have provided better comfort than the fancy pink backed stool. Roy The 'welcome pack' was a very nice touch. Close to being very good, but let down by the seating.

This wonderful, first-floor apartment, Azure, is perched on the coast in Carbis Bay, Cornwall.

The perfect place to come for a romantic getaway, the beach is a short walk away, and an array of picture-postcard towns can be found close by, peppered along the coast.

Upon arrival, you'll be happy to come across a permit parking spot, where you can park up before venturing upstairs to your couples' retreat!

Just a short drive from iconic St Ives, the seaside village of Carbis Bay is best-known for its beautiful stretch of pure white sand. With turquoise waters and sheltered conditions, the beach feels almost subtropical and is the perfect spot for a good old-fashioned day by the sea. The beach is also home to the Ocean Sports Centre, so if sunbathing is not really your thing, why not hire a kayak or SUP and get out on the water instead. Or why not treat yourself to a Spa day at the delightful hotel which overlooks the beach and has a fabulous terrace where cocktails can be enjoyed in the Cornish sunshine? Carbis Bay has a small range of local shops and restaurants as well as a fish & chip takeaway and railway branch line. The train journey from Carbis Bay into St Ives is perhaps one of the most beautiful in the country; St Ives additionally makes for a great day out, with plenty of galleries to explore.
