  • "A very nice cottage in a lovely part of the country, very quiet, beautiful views from the property and a swimming pool on site too, we used the pool a few times and always had the pool to ourselves."

A great place to stay and an ideal base to explore Cornwall. We went to the New Inn pub in Tywardreath most nights for a drink, just a couple of miles down the road but narrow lanes so be careful otherwise no problems at all, a very pleasant stay.

  • "Lovely cottage in a really great little complex."

The Cottage was spacious and comfortable for our family with all the facilities expected and incredibly clean and looked after. The swimming pool was amazing! The playpark was also an additional bonus. The only suggestion we can make is can there be a bench for adults to sit on at the play park? The property requests that children are supervised but there is nowhere to sit.

  • "Lovely place in a beautiful location, with more than enough facilities."

Complete lack of interaction saddened me though.

  • "Very comfortable and well appointed."

Everything was very clean. Spacious lounge with unusual curved wall and several windows giving a lovely view. A welcome pack of Cornish tea, coffee and milk in the fridge. We took our own to be prepared but there were tea towels, washing up liquid, and dishwasher tablets . We cooked in the oven several times and there was a selection of well used baking trays. Only comment here is that the inside of the oven door wasn’t cleaned and we wiped off old food stains. The towels were pristine white and soft however one bath towel and one hand towel each is not enough for a week. We had taken some of our own. The swimming pool was like a warm bath and we had it to ourselves each time we used it. I do think the toilet should have been fixed though as the lack of it limited our time in the pool. From the promotion of Willow cottage we thought there was only one other on the site and hadn’t expected to see others in the vicinity although this was not detrimental to the location. Many local attractions are accessible. We enjoyed our stay and visited Fowey, (some very steep hills), Newquay Zoo, the Eden Project, Charlestown harbour and Mevagissey. There was plenty of literature in the cottage. There are lots of other places to visit and if staying longer we would have gone to the Seal Sanctuary. A car is essential but we found parking quite expensive. We would happily return except for us it is such a long drive. Everyone we met was very friendly.

  • "We really enjoyed our stay at Willow cottage."

It was very comfortable and well stocked for self catering. My only issue was it was too hot and we couldn’t adjust the temperature of the heating control. I would definitely recommend you to friends and family though.
