"Very well set up with everything needed for a comfortable stay."
The house is well decorated and modern, clearly well looked after. Close to the town and all that Newlyn offers, and of course the excellent weather helped!
So glad you enjoyed your stay . Come back soon :-)

"We loved this house - home from home."
No issues with parking. Very comfortable well kept and maintained. In a residential street so you do get the noise from the neighbours which is expected (bit of a noisy night on the BH Sunday) Definitely recommend. We have booked again for next August :-)
thankyou sooo much for your lovely feedback and welcome back in 2025 !!!! :-)

"The TV is too high to view comfortably from the sofas."
Otherwise it is a nice property and the listings were accurate.
It is on a steep hill out of the town but the bus services mean walking this can be avoided.

"The location was ideal."
Information should be given on steps at the back of the property, we could see the front steps from photos. With an elderley Lab we had to lift him in and out.
There is not a sharp knife at all, this has been mentioned before and nakes it difficult when cooking. Also the saucepans are losing their coating and dont look good. No egg cups either, so had to improvise.
Could do with some board games, playing cards etc couldn't find any in the cupboards. The house was clean but quite tired in places and needs a bit of TLC and some of crockery replaced as chipped.
We dont like to give bad reviews on any place we stay, but think the owner should know if they havent visited in a while
thankyou very much for your constructive feedback. I will endeavour to visit the property as soon as possible to rectify any issues.
I am sorry you didn't have a more positive stay....

"The house is situated on a steep, busy road."
But the effort, if you are walking, is worth it. There are also plenty of pretty, meandering, side lanes and paths that will take you down to the bay. And the bus routes (e.g., to Mousehole or Land’s End) are fantastic. The house was perfect. Quiet and clean. Perhaps chilly for colder days and nights. The welcoming gifts of Prosecco and creamed scones were appreciated. We are walking holidaymakers and so for us Newlyn is nicely located for discovering the coastline. We also like the cinema and The Red Lion pub as well as the stroll along the promenade to Penzance. We will most probably return to the same house.

"Overall the accomodation was fine, a clean house, a lovely shower and within walking distance of the village."
There are some cute cafes in the village.
However, the house is on a main road with traffic often passing including tractors (so if you're a light sleeper this may affect you). Parking opposite the house was not always possible, and at times we had to park in other streets.

"We throughly enjoyed our stay at 5 Parc Terrace."
Newlyn is a lovely village with lovely restaurants (Mackrel Sky Seafood, The Bridge) Café (Duke St Cafe) and Pubs (The Swordfish) all of which are dog friendly. The house is in a perfect location to walk to Penzance and Mousehole and a bus route which runs through can also be used to get to other areas/sights of Cornwall. This information written in the welcome pack would have been useful. The house was on a steep hill, a good way to walk off the food and drinks, and we were lucky with parking to have had a pace on the road just outside the house. The house itself was decorated lovely, clean and was everything we needed for a week with our dog. The gifts on arrival were a lovely touch! Thank you for a lovely week and we would definitely recommend to stay here as a base for exploring Cornwall

"Lovely property."
Could do with a few more kitchen items. Mainly some more glasses - tall tumblers/pint glasses. Also kitchen utensils eg. Spatula, sharp knifes.

"I do think that you should state that the property is on a steep hill, will limited on road parking."
Whilst we managed, even though my wife had a broken foot, we feel older couples may not cope so well.
Additionally there really wasnt that much local information on amenities, attractions and restaurants. Certainly with regard to local vicinity dog walks there was no information at all.

"I can't complain about the cleanliness as this was spot on apart from a filthy grill pan in the cooker."
No dressing table so very difficult to get ready and do hair and make up. Living room very uncomfortable. The 2 sofas are past the best and once your on them your in a hole and the tv is housed on the wall very high up! Felt unable to relax and it gave me a bad neck. No tv upstairs at all which won't be an issue to all but was to me. These are all issues that can be easily addressed. Beds were comfy. Main bedroom is on the main road side which is also on a bus route which can get quite noisy. Again if your a light sleeper this won't be for you Traffic struggles to get up and down this very steep bank. You can't park outside but we always managed to park close by but if
your a nervous driver this won't be the place for you....
Lovely touch of scones and wine on arrival though.

"The actual house is lovely - so many beds for a good family holiday."
Kitchen and bathroom are a fantastic size. Couldn’t fault the property. The only down side is the parking. I knew we didn’t have an allotted parking space but I had no idea we’d have to search for a space on a very steep hill and bury the car in a wall if we couldn’t get near to the pavement. Not ideal with a dog and 5 month old baby!

"The property was centrally located for our activities in the area and a good back to explore."
We specifically enjoyed our walks to the harbour to collect fresh local fish and seafood.
The property was clean, comfortable and suitable for our requirements. The only issue with the property was there was no parking and finding parking in the surrounding area could be challenging.

"Arrived extremely late in the day at the lovely cottage."
A lovely welcome pack of scones and goodies including doggie treats awaited us. Cottage was extremely clean, fresh and extremely comfortable. One of the cleanest properties in which we have stayed. Although it was high season we always managed to easily find a parking spot nearby. A lovely house to explore the area. I would certainly book again.
