  • "Superb location and home near the sea."

The dogs loved the walks and the grandchildren were made up with the beach. We visited the local pubs which were a short walk into the village and found the local people very friendly and helpful with the area. Food was great in both pubs. The home was clean, spacious and suited our needs. Would definitely return.

Only one very, very small thing downstairs toilet. Almost forgot to say about the outside share place which is completely fenced off so it was great to let our dogs off to exercise 100% we will book again and just waiting for the availability to come up for next year and we will be booking both seacroft and little seacroft as my mum is disabled

Hello Patricia, thank you so very much for your glowing review, and especially your wonderfully enthusiastic opening descriptor of ‘fantastic’! Really pleased you found the directions very helpful. Glad you appreciated the location; agreed, being so close to the village, local shop and pub, as well as the beach, is such an advantage to the property. Very happy to read you liked the number and size of the ground floor rooms, and the wood stove. Oh absolutely, even if I do say so myself, I believe the smart TVs were a wise choice because they do provide such great flexibility for guests access their own subscription accounts. Brilliant that you experienced the furniture and bedding as high quality, especially as it sounds like the provided you with fantastic sleeps. Fab that you found all the bedrooms to be sufficiently spacious, and agreed the ensuite is ‘snug’, but glad it worked for your party. Yes, you make a valid point, there isn’t a ground floor toilet, but you’re absolutely right, in renting out both Seacroft and Little Seacroft together, your Mum will be able to use the ground floor bathroom and ground floor bedroom of Little Seacroft. Fantastic that you and your canine friends were able to enjoy the garden; it’s probably my favourite place across the whole property. Great that you are eager to return. I’ve just released the dates till 31 March 2025, so if you’re looking to visit before then, please do book; be lovely to have you back. Take care till then, Michelle Property Owner

  • "Crantock is our favourite place to visit after taking our daughter on her first holiday here 10 years ago."

We visit 2/3 times a year and I think we have found our forever accommodation (should it be available). Absolutely perfect location with the most stunning views and the games room for the kids was the cherry ontop. We could chill out and watch the sunset whilst the kids were entertained. Our dog also enjoyed the use of running around the large garden area, something you struggle to find nowadays. With a 5 minute walk to the beach it was nice not having to move the car either. The beds were nice and comfy and we all had the best night sleep after a busy days. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you could possibly need. This property really is everything you need and we can not wait to book again when the dates become available. Thank you

Dear Michelle (great name by the way!), I can completely understand your love of Crantock; I very much share your passion for the village and beach, and I am so pleased to read that you have found your forever accommodation in Seacroft. Glad that you experienced the location as perfect and that you enjoyed the stunning views. Oh yes, agreed, the games room is such a bonus, especially with kids; they can play in there whilst you’re on one of the patios appreciating the sunsets. Completely, the large garden is such a good space for canine companions to run around. I know, I loooooove the beach only being a five-minute walk away, and especially not having to fight for parking; just a stress you don’t need whilst on holiday. So pleased that the beds felt nice and comfy and that you were able get the best night’s sleep after your busy days. Fab that you found the kitchen to be well equipped, and that the kitchen, and the property overall, had everything you could possibly need. I really hear your enthusiasm for Seacroft Michelle, and I feel my own enthusiasm in wanting to eagerly invite you back for your next stay. Whilst all are queuing to get on the beach and pay £10 daily , you have the luxury of 3 spaces. We have a border collie and there is a beautiful big secluded garden nice and secure ,again great. Also within the garden there is a games room with Tv, again ticks a few boxes. Inside the house plenty of seating space nice open plan Rooms all very comfortable nice linen, lovely pillows Good quality towels Really is the best spot in Crantock , views are stunning

Hi Ashley, so pleased to read that you found the location and views to be stunning, and yes the easy walk to the beach and being able to avoid the queues and daily £10 parking fee, is a definite perk! Great that your border collie enjoyed the garden, and I’m with you, the garden is one of my favourite places on the property because of its size and secluded nature. And absolutely, the games room is fun! Not sure whether I prefer table tennis, air hockey, or pool, but I know I’m hilariously terrible at all of them!! Great that you appreciated the ample seating and open plan rooms; I find those features really conducive to creating a warm, shared environment for guests. Fab that you experienced the linen, towels, and soft furnishings as lovely, nice, and comfortable. Overall, super pleased to learn that you feel Seacroft really is the best spot in Crantock; that’s wonderfully high praise indeed. Hope you have the opportunity to return in the very near future. • "It is a beautiful property in an amazing location."

I do not think it should be advertised for six people. Whilst there is large bedroom, a smaller double and a twin, the twin room is minute and certainly not appropriate for a couple (maybe OK for young children). We could hardly move once both of us were in the bedroom and no drawers to put our clothes in. Luckily we were only staying a few nights.

Hello David, so very pleased to read that you found Seacroft to be a beautiful property that has an amazing location. Thank you for feeding back about your stay. I’m sorry to understand that you do not think the house should be advertised as available for six people given your experience of the twin bedroom. Unfortunately, I think you may not have noticed the custom draws that I had built into every bed base to accommodate guests’ belongings. If you look at the pictures of the advert for Seacroft, you can just about see the outline of this additional storage. I hope despite this element of your stay, that you and your companions had an enjoyable trip to Cornwall. Take care, Michelle Property Owner

Hello Ann, thank you so much for your feedback; wonderful to read that you found the property to be brilliant and beautifully situated. And interestingly, for future reference, there are actually two USB ports (a standard USB and a USB C) in each of the bedroom lamps.
