  • "Had trouble finding the apartment as we arrived in the dark, think the sign on the fence needs to be a lot bigger."

The apartment was perfect, comfy, cosy and spotless. Wouldnt hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

  • "This is the 3rd time I have stayed here, Travelling on my own - this as per previous vstays has been ideal for me."

Short walk into middle of Village and not a lengthy walk to the beach (if you are not having to carry much with you)..

  • "Oven did not work throughout the week the owner claimed there was nothing wrong with it although a gas engineer said it needed a part, despite having diagnosed the problem noone came to fix it and we had to throw a lot of food away."

There were daddy long legs in the room and lots of slugs in the hallway. The lady owner was very rude to my husband and refused to give ua a air fryer, and suggested we went out to eat, we wouldn't have booked an apartment if we wanted to go out and eat we also had a 4 month old son. Their dog kept barking keeping us and the baby up, also parking was so tight and dangerous. Would not recommend this apartment we manged to a 10percent discount which didn't cover the food cost. Spoke to Skyke throughout the whole holiday wasting my time as owners were not responding to their emails or calls, day we got there was no electricity. Highly disappointing stay!

  • "Summer Breeze is a lovely place to stay in Crantock."

A short walk to the beach and village for the shop and pubs. It's also a great base for sightseeing as nothing is really more than an hour drive away. Facilities were perfect for us. There are 2 apartments and Summer Breeze is on the upper floor it had its own allocated parking spot too. The local village shop stocks lovely local food and the two pubs both do food although both always seemed to have tables reserved every night. Our favourite was the Cornishman, but we also enjoyed food and drink at the Old Albion. Crantock is beautiful, if we were return Summer Breeze will be the place we stay.

  • "This is the second time I have stayed here, last time being pre-covid."

Very conveninent for staying within walking distance into village, to the beach & for access to coastal pathway walks. The accomodation & facilities were of the same standard as when I stayed here previously - no drop in standards. Very happy to stay here again hopefully in the near future if possible. Tom & Mary were very helpful to me during my stay.

  • "Very clean and comfortable."

Parking tight but close to property and off the road. Quiet but well positioned for bus to Newquay, beach, local shop and pubs. Sufficient equipment for simple meal preparation and good sharp knives. I would have preferred carpet protector or no carpet in front of cooker, sink etc as, although not usually clumsy, I was nervous of spilling or splashing when cooking so used back burners as much as possible. Useful to have full cooker. So well cleaned, it took a while for burners to burn properly! Good to have TV in both rooms, but I had not checked if there was a hairdryer, and wrongly assumed there would be. There is no outside space for sitting, however, there are seats around the village and the beach is close enough to walk to for a short time.

  • "A cosy place, clean and in good order."

It’s quiet dark as there’s only 3 small side facing windows that don’t let enough natural light in. Disappointed with the lack of cleaning products which we ended up having to buy, that’s washing up liquid, kitchen roll and sponges. There’s no washing machine or facility’s to dry clothing so if you planning on surfing or days on the beach you’re need to find a work around. One last point is the location of the fire extinguishers, where they are currently located would make it difficult to access them in the event of a fire, as they are placed in the lobby area which is down stairs and thru two doors to access them.

Nice touch with the wine and chocolates, went down a treat on arrival. Owners were attentive. Only thing to be aware of is if you are tall, the bed might not be for you.

In my opinion much better walking to the beach rather than driving to it (traffic james on days of clear weather). I was very happy with the accommodation, location, facilities and when I return to stay in Crantock again I definitely intend staying at Summer Breezes again.
