• "Lovely cottage with very short walk to village with two pubs and a shop and a bus stop outside."

  There is also a coffee shop but not open in November. The cottage was comfortable and very quiet and we were grateful for the milk left for us. It did take me two days to locate the hairdryer which was in a box in the downstairs wardrobe hidden behind the clothes dryer maybe a drawer would be a better option.

• "Big thank you to the housekeeper - the property was spotless."

  There was an issue with the cistern leaking in the en-suite shower room. I sent a text at 8.30 a.m. and by the time we returned in the afternoon it had been sorted - excellent response and service. Would have appreciated a starter pack of logs for the wood-burner. As the weather was not brilliant we did not use the outside facilities, but they all looked good. Could imagine spending relaxing evenings on the terrace seating. Excellent location - you can park up and walk everywhere in Crantock and along the coast path. Also good bus service to Newquay and Truro.

• "My son and daughter in law thought the bed upstairs was uncomfortable but appreciate it is difficult to please everyone."

• "The cottage was beautiful and we loved staying here."

  Great location for the beach and walking. Car not really needed unless you want to go further afield but we even took the boat to Newquay and back by bus! Cottage had everything we needed and was very well stocked. Excellent for dogs and were grateful of the stair gate to keep ours downstairs. Great nearby shop and also neighbour’s honesty box supplies of salad and jams and eggs very welcome. Only made an error with the recycling bags; our rubbish was not taken away as we didn’t sort it specifically even though the bags were labelled as mixed recycling.

• "Lovely comfortable cottage."

  Enjoyed the log burner on the blustery days, after a walk on the beach. Perfect family getaway included our four legged friend.

• "Lovely cottage with everything you need especially for a winter break."

  The only criticism would be the poor WiFi, we have stayed in crantock many times and this was very poor as we only managed to log in briefly once. Thankfully we have unlimited WiFi via our phones. This also made the tv experience frustrating as we could only get Netflix to work on the tv. You need to update the house managers number as it is disconnected.

• "Second stay at this idyllic character cottage in a great location."

  Two great pubs, a shop and a great beach within walking distance. Also on a bus route and lots of great walking opportunities. Feels like home from home.
