  • "We loved our stay in the cottage."

We had all the facilities we needed and although we didn't use them, there was a good range of DVD's and Playstation games. The bed was very comfortable and in a decent sized room. The welcome package was very much appreciated after a long drive as was the set of detailed travel instructions sent by email to help negotiate the extensive roadworks in the area. It was good to meet the owner who made us feel very welcome. Paul

It really is very spacious and well equipped with everything you could ever need. The owners met us on arrival and made us feel very welcome. They had left for us a lovely homemade cream tea and tea, coffee and wine which was really appreciated after our journey. There was also a lot of thoughtful extras which made us feel even more welcome. The cottage is in a rural area but not isolated. It was just right for us as we live in the countryside. From the cottage the whole of Cornwall is easily accessible and we enjoyed our week exploring in all directions.

Thank you for the feedback! It is so rewarding for us when our guests have had a good holiday! You were the perfect guests to host & our cleaner commented on how immaculate the cottage was left. Thank you & hope that we will see you again ❤️ Property Owner

Little extra touches such as tea & coffee.Fresh laid ,free range ,eggs from Holly’s hens.& a vase of fresh cut flowers.Zoe keeps the cottage very well equipped that it’s a real home from home.We we’re the first to benefit from a recently refurbished shower room which was an added bonus.Manor Farmhouse is ideally situated for exploring all that Cornwall has to offer. The A30 is minutes down the road.We ventured out everyday & Zoe was very knowledgeable about the area & various places of interest. We took the train from St Erth to St Ives ,as recommended ,a perfect way to see the beautiful coastline. We visited many National Trust areas on the doorstep such as Wheal Coates,Godrevy,Kynance Cove & The Lizard Point. One of our highlights was a trip to The Minack Theatre & well worth the visit. We also loved the Cornish charm of Mousehole & Cadgwith Cove. The County really has something for everyone. The only negative was the fact Storm Eunice kept us in on our last day but she certainly didn’t spoil our holiday!
