  • "Upon arrival my husband and I were very pleased with the size, decor, brightness, cleanliness and coziness of the property, our grandchildren were quite gobsmacked, especially the grandson, aged twelve, he had all his clothes unpacked and neatly hung on hangers in the wardrobe, he was overjoyed with his room and the granddaughter was also happy and quickly settled in."

We were pleasantly surprised by the lovely welcome of fresh scones, jam and cream, Prosecco, fresh milk, tea and coffee - all ready to get refreshed and begin our lovely holiday We had a lovely stay, it was almost a shame we had to go out and about - but it’s in Cornwall with so many places to enjoy, see and to do. I have no doubt in saying that we would have been perfectly happy to spend much more time in Cockle Nook had we the need to. The facilities were really lovely, white quality bedding and fluffy white towels for us all. Really well equipped kitchen all clean and ready to use. We cooked and even did cooking with the grandchildren. Plenty of comfy seats. We played cards and games together that were provided. It was just home from home. We would definitely want to stay here again in future, we felt so at home. Thanks to Nicola xx.

  • "Stayed in this lovely cottage for a week and it was amazing."

Lovely location which was very peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle of life. The owner of the property was very friendly and more than happy to help with an issue that arose and quickly sorted out. The property was spotless and had everything that I could have needed to make my stay perfect from a comfortable bed to comfy furniture to all the equipment you could want in a kitchen. My only preference would be to have blinds at the kitchen door and bathroom windows. Only the garden and fields behind so no one would see in but just how I am

  • "We had an incredibly comfortable stay."

The owners had thought of everything for all of us (including the 4 legged member of our family). I do not think that I have ever encountered a decent hairdryer in holiday accommodation, but even the hairdryer was high quality! The cottage was ideally located with lots to do only a short drive away. Whilst on site we enjoyed the tennis. Thank you.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your wonderful review! I'm overjoyed to learn that you had an incredibly comfortable stay and that the attention to detail, even for our four-legged guests, made your experience special. I'm so pleased Cockle Nook’s location and on-site activities added to your enjoyment. Your kind words mean the world to us, and we're grateful for the opportunity to have hosted you. If your future travels bring you back to the area, we'd be thrilled to welcome you for another memorable stay. Property Owner

  • "The cottage was scrupulously clean and very well located."

The check-in via the key safe was efficient and the cottage was well-equipped for our family and our dog. Lines of communication were open with the owner should we have required assistance (which we didn’t) but this was not intrusive, just reassuring. I have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation.

Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm absolutely delighted to hear that you and your family had a wonderful stay at Cockle Nook. It warms my heart to know that the cottage's cleanliness, location, and amenities met your expectations. Your thoughtful feedback is greatly appreciated, and I'm truly proud to have provided you with a positive experience. Should you decide to return in the future, we'll be more than happy to welcome you back with open arms. Property Owner
