  • "What an amazing week we had at 17 Bell Cottage."

The cottage was immaculate. Beautifully decorated. The outside area overlooks the River Inny, so peaceful to sit out each night. Lots of extras provided by owners for our fur baby. Will definitely be returning!

  • "Absolutely loved the cottage."

Everything you needed was there. Beautifully decorated & so comfortable & warm. Absolutely spotless. Only I should have done a little more homework. Major supermarket's, far away. As I don’t do online shopping, that was a bit of an issue. Would definitely recommend if you need to totally chill though.

Thank you for your review, we are always pleased to hear guests enjoyed their stay and the tranquil setting of the cottage. Not sure if you found the shops in Camelford, Co op, fantastic butchers and the garage going out of town has a good selection plus local produce. There are plans for a large Tesco store in Camleford coming soon! Property Owner

We were unable to contact the owners on either of the phone numbers provided so were unable to let them know that we were having to cut short our stay. Other than that we were enjoying our stay at Bell Cottage and found all the amenities to be what we expected.

  • "An excellent cottage."

The hosts have provided everything you could need. The cottage was lovely, cosy and couldn’t be bettered. As we took two small dogs, it was important that it had a safe secure garden and that was evident when we arrived. The wi fi was fast enough for streaming as well. The arrival booklet was really helpful with ideas on days out and locally eateries.

Thank you for your feedback, we are glad you enjoyed your stay and it was lovely to meet you both Property Owner

  • "I specifically chose Bell Cottage because it had a bath and not just a shower."

Sadly though the water was not hot enough to have a decent bath, I only managed a third of a bath full of warm water. We did try to boost the boiler as suggested but to no effect. This was a great disappointment as a bath is very important to me. Also there is no socket anywhere near a mirror in the bedroom to plug a hairdryer in. Such a shame as the cottage as the cottage is cosy and comfortable with all that you need for a lovely holiday.

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately you did not contact us on the two telephone numbers or email addresses provided while you were at the cottage to tell us of any problem you were having with the water. We have not had any issues previously or after your visit. Sorry you found you had a problem. Property Owner

Do need lighting outside it’s very dark at night would come again

Thank you for your feed back. We are glad you found the cottage comfortable. Regarding the outside lights. There are two lights situated on the back wall of cottage and one at the front door. Switches are located by doors and clearly marked. There are also various solar lights on the pagoda in the back garden. There is also a torch in the cottage for use while you are there. We hope to see you again. Glen & Sue Property Owner

  • "The cottage was lovely in all respects except for one thng."

My husband is partially disabled & had trouble getting in & out of the bath as there was no handrail near the end of the bath to hang on to. One other thing that probably doesn't seem terribly important but it would have been helpful if the tv remote had a subtitles button. I am a little hard of hearing & use the subtitle service all the time at home.

Thank you for your review. We were not made aware before your stay that you had specific requirements. We hope that this did not impact your stay too much. Property Owner

It included all the basic appliances and comforts for preparation of meals and entertainment (additional board games appreciated).
