  • "Amazing property, 2nd trip there."

Rebooked again. Lovely little touches with card and welcome gift. Not a criticism but would benefit from dryer at the property.

Such a shame that this was an issue because the property was in a great location, and had everything you could need.

  • "We had a fabulous week at Sarah's Cottage."

The location is perfect, just on the edge of the town, about 15 minutes walk. Very quiet and peaceful. The cottage is well equipped and clean. Beds very comfortable. We found the 2 smaller bedrooms a little small for adults but would be ideal for children. The bathroom is modern with an excellent shower. There is a pretty garden at the rear with seating. Parking space for 2 cars at the front was a bonus as parking in Padstow is a nightmare! One minor point we felt the sofas in the living room were past their best and bit flat. Overall a great week and very good value for money.

  • "Sarah’s cottage is a lovely holiday home."

A lovely short walk into Padstow even though the uphill return walk was stimulating (we were very fortunate to have picked a beautiful sunny week). Our only real negative was the garden maintenance. The front lawn had obviously not been mowed for months (in fact we could see a rockery hidden beneath). The back garden was full of weeds and generally needed some TLC. In contrast the interior was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed our stay.

We were very impressed with the efficient response when we reported that the bathroom light/extractor switch broke. It was on a Sunday and the switch was replaced within an hour. We appreciated the tasty welcome goodies. Thank you. The cottage is in an ideal position for visiting the top parts of Cornwall, although we did travel down to Coverack one day.

If we had been four people, upstairs would have been a bit tight! as although a nice bathroom, not very easy to move around in, and a shelf would have been useful. Bedroom three also, very tiny. However for the two of us, it was a lovely cottage, and we had a lovely week.

Just a couple of suggestions. A few hooks to hang coats on would be useful, perhaps under the stairs. Also, the shower is very slow to drain away, we wondered if it was nearly blocked. He bed was lovely and soft!

  • "Such a great cottage, facilities exceeded our expectations."

The position of the accommodation is superb, lovely and quiet but so near the harbour and camel trail. The car remained parked up for most of our stay. Biscuits, cake and milk were very much appreciated and a lovely touch, our drive down from Manchester had been in rain all the way and was hard going so being able to have a brew and biscuit was a welcome sight. We have been in cottages in the lakes but not a touch on this cottage, just being able to use a dishwasher tablet that the owner had left plus salt, pepper, oils is sooooo good as these are items that can sometimes be forgotten. We have told all of our families and friends about the house, we will most definitely be back. Thank you, you are providing an excellent cottage, lovely and clean too.

We had brought with us things just in case we needed them, but everything was provided. The cottage was closer to the cycle/walk way than we had imagined which was a pleasant surprise. The area was quiet and the birds on the hawthorn tree in the garden a joy to watch every morning. Easy to get visit local places. We know the area well. The weather was kind to us and we enjoyed walking and the breathtaking views we had been dreaming about since 2019. We enjoyed a very relaxing holiday. Thank you very much.

  • "The loft trapdoor was open when we arrived."

The TV reception was poor so we assumed that someone had been in the loft to adjust the arial. More importantly for you, the keys were in the safebox upon arrival as you advised, but we did not have to key in the supplied number to access the keys as the previous occupants/ cleaner had not scrambled the numbers. So anyone could have entered the property between the last person leaving and our arrival. None of the issues affected our stay and we were very happy with all aspects of the cottage, including cleanliness, amenities and location

Thank you very much for your feedback. We are so sorry that you found the trap door open, this is purely down to the wind flow when the front door is opened and no one had accessed the loft. Our TV reception can also be affected by the weather conditions at the time. We do hope to see you again in the future. Property Owner

We found the cottage spotlessly clean, very well equipped & very welcoming with a welcome tray, box of biscuits & milk in the fridge. It is in a perfect location being a very short & pretty walk down to the Harbour & town, very close to the local Tesco's, and an excellent base for walking etc, both locally & further afield. We enjoyed many of our favourite walks including the "John Betjeman Walk" which starts & finishes in Rock, taking in St Enodoc's Church where John Betjeman is buried. To be recommended! All in all we had an excellent holiday in this cottage, would recommend it to friends & will stay again in the future.

Cleaning materials were provided which meant we didn’t need to purchase little things such as kitchen roll, cloths and disinfectant. We enjoyed a lovely cream tea which was waiting for us in the fridge, the kids were especially pleased. There is a cut through next to the house which gave us quick access on to the road to take us down into padstow town and the harbour. Tesco is literally up the road which is ideal. Padstow is a stunning town and the surrounding beaches are beautiful. Especially Trevone and Tregirls.
