and on balcony. Could not hear other flat owners. 14 steps up to Flat. Very dog orientated but no evidence of them. Easy parking, stroll down to the nearby beach. In direct contact with owner as there was a problem with tv which was promptly sorted out with her. Thank you.

The kitchen is fully equipped, with a good selection of cooking utensils, as well as crockery and glasses. We thoroughly enjoyed our comfortable stay, making the most of the balcony and views.
Downderry is a beautiful little village, in an area that was new to us, so we were out and about exploring every day.We would certainly recommend the Bolt Hole for future visitors.

"The Bolt Hole is a stunning, spacious, modern apartment with a beautiful view of the sea from the balcony."
The apartment has everything you (and your fur baby) could possibly need and is very comfortable and spotlessly clean.
Downderry is a lovely peaceful village with friendly locals. It’s a very short walk to the beach for morning walkies and Seaton (with the fantastic Beach House!) is just along the beach or down the road for ice cream and pizzas.
We absolutely loved our 2 weeks at the Bolt Hole. It’s a great place to come home to after busy days exploring Cornwall or after spending a relaxing day on the beach.

Owners really have thought about everything to make your stay perfect . Very dog friendly with treats and equipment left for our boy .
Lovely sunny balcony to enjoy the sea view with comfortable furniture .
Very quiet / peaceful area but only a short drive from the busier town of Looe.
Book it ! Definitely a 10/10 property !

"We absolutely LOVED The Bolt Hole!"
Fantastic fully equipped (literally every thing thing you need!) apartment with a lovely balcony with an amazing view of the sea! Parking space for one car. Literally 1 minute walk to an amazing tapas bar, and a pub just down from there with sea views. We will definitely be going back , it felt very homely and was very quiet. Thank you!

Thoughtful amenities included, lovely touch with the scones, jam, cream & milk. Great sea view as advertised. Great eateries walking distance away inc the Bewsheas tapas bar ( delicious) & the Inn on the shore , both places had great food & lovely staff. Just one more thing to mention I am asthmatic & allergic to dog hair, I didn’t have a problem at all at the apartment ( which allows dogs) so just shows how clean it was. We will definitely be booking for next year.

"We absolutely loved our stayed in The Bolt Hole."
The apartment was in a good spot, with a nice view and the owner had gone over and above with kitting out the apartment. The beds were lovely and comfortable. The kitchen was well kitted out with cooking trays, utensils etc. The apartment was also very quiet, we heard no noise from any of the other apartments in the block. The welcome pack of cream tea was very much appreciated! The area was really nice, with some lovely scenery. We would definitely visit again and wished we had stayed for a longer period. Thank you.

Very clean and the cream tea,milk and doggy treats a lovely touch. The Inn on the shore very welcoming and so many dogs..definitely one of the most dog friendly places we've visited. Sadly the weather wasn't too kind so we probably didn't get to really enjoy the areas full beauty. Our dog was poorly a couple of days,bodmin pets at home got us straight in and all was well. No criticism at all,just be aware that the shop wasn't open when we were there(could be seasonal) so make sure you have all you might need as it's a bit of a trip to the nearest store.

Everything you need us there and the snacks for the dog and the cream tea and milk were a lovely touch. Randomly there was food left in the oven which is a first for us but I guess these things happen sometimes. Would definitely stay again.

Parking on site is a great plus in Cornwall. Located on the coast between Looe and Plymouth with lots of places to visit nearby and a beach at the bottom of the road. Dog friendly. Highly recommended.

Everything you could need, so well equipped. The balcony with sea views and close proximity to the beach is just incredible. Your accommodation is so welcoming for dogs with all the little added extras for them. Our cream tea together with the doggie treats was a lovely welcome surprise. The place has everithing you need plus amazing view from balcony . Its also not far from tourist attractions like Eden Project , Looe ,plymouth etc . Our beloved pooch loved his daily walks by the beach every morning . We had a lovely time .

The property itself is well equipped, and the host has thought of everything that guests might need or want.
The beds were incredibly comfortable and the place is cosy and modern.
It was my first trip to Cornwall and I thoroughly enjoyed it, as did Maddie the sausage dog and the in-laws.

It was so sheltered that we were able to sit on the balcony on several occasions in February. My first holiday rental where we had very comfortable beds and sofas, so welcome after long walks!
We had one random equipment failure but the friendly owner was on the case to rectify it immediately, plenty of communication, excellent electricians and many unnecessary apologies, these things happen as every home owner knows.
Nice welcome pack for us and the dog. Thoroughly recommend The Bolt Hole.

Every detail has been thought of by the owners including a welcome cream tea and treats for the dog! Crisp white bed linen, power showers and fluffy towels , just like you might find in a boutique hotel. The kitchen is very well equipped and includes large fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The extractor fan wasn't great at getting did of cooking smells so maybe the filters need changing? We had a fantastic week and have already recommended The Bolt Hole to friends and family.

It was beautifully furnished and had everything we needed. The Bolt hole was immaculately clean and very welcoming, a cream tea waiting for us and extras for our dog.
It was perfectly positioned, with pubs and restaurants a few minutes walk away. The beach was so close and everyone was very friendly to us and our dog. A perfect place to stay while exploring Cornwall.
We would highly recommend and will definitely return.

The beach is literally 2 min walk down the hill which is perfect for families. The owners even provided dog food and water bowls which was amazing and a lovely thought.
