"Cosy cottage with quirky decor in a quiet hill side location overlooking the coast."
Welcome pack very good containing several local produced items. Would have liked more instructions regarding central heating system as the outside temperature dropped to 0'C. Access to the designated parking area is tight and awkward to drive into or exit plus the path from the parking area to the cottage not ideal (muddy and slippery) in poor light.

There wasn't anything else that we needed during our stay. The shower was lovely, plenty of hot water and powerful. Unusual to find so many household items supplied. Would thoroughly recommend this property and it's position if you want a relaxing holiday.

"Laburnum Cottage is fabulous."
The bungalow was spotlessly clean and tidy, we had everything we needed. Beautifully decorated throughout. We received a complimentary welcome pack with fresh scones, jam, clotted cream, coffee, tea and other goodies. The owner came a short time after we arrived to check if we were okay and to contact her if there were any issues. The bungalow was well equipped. It was so quiet and peaceful, a totally relaxing holiday. Close to Tintagel for food supplies and pubs and restaurants.

Where you’ll be staying
TINTAGEL
Camelford 5.9 miles; Wadebridge 13 miles.
Tintagel, home of the legendary King Arthur’s Castle, whose ruins dominate the cliffside just outside the village, is a popular but not overcrowded tourist destination, surrounded by the sea, rocky coves and stunning scenery. Several beaches, including nearby Trebarwith Strand and Bossiney Cove, are within easy reach and surfing is the main attraction for those who love the water. Tintagel has several pubs and restaurants and the Old Post Office (National Trust) is a must. For the energetic, the South West Coast Path passes through the village and in both directions it winds its way along the cliffs and down to the water’s edge through dramatic countryside. Head north along the path and within a short distance is the beautiful village of Boscastle with its quaint quay and village pubs for refreshment. Further afield are the surfing meccas of Newquay and Bude, with their resort attractions, while the open spaces of Bodmin Moor, the Eden Project, Padstow, Camel Estuary and Port Isaac are all within a short but scenic drive.
