  • "One of the reasons we booked this property was for the washer and dryer - although the washing machine was fine, the dryer programme did not work and automatically stopped after four minutes of any cycle chosen."

Also to compound that, all the radiators were on timers and could not be overridden, so we could not even dry small items that way. The radiators were an issue in themselves, it was very cold at times and we had to wait for the heating to come on which was patchy at best - the hallway radiator was on for a couple of days then stopped working. Fortunately for us there were days when the weather was ok, but to restrict the heating in November is very poor and penny pinching by the owners, and left a negative mark on our holiday - we did not get what was advertised. Both myself and wife suffer from Arthritis so to restrict heating did effect us health wise. Disappointed as we were looking forward to a comfy and cosy break which we did not get.

We were sorry to hear that you were cold during your stay. We have checked the operation of all the radiators and all are functioning correctly. The plug in timers all have an override switch to permit continuous operation and a simple alternative would be to unplug the timer unit and plug the radiator directly into the wall socket. The tumble dryer has been checked and is functioning correctly, so we are unsure why it only ran for a few minutes when you used it. If you had made a call to 01326 336773 (Cornish Cottage Holidays) during your stay, someone would have swiftly come to the apartment to help you with the radiators and the dryer. Property Owner

  • "A lovely property."

Clean, nicely furnished and with ample kitchen utensils. Comfy beds and great walk in shower with plenty of hot water. Parking spot a bonus in Falmouth. There is a pedestrian gate near the property. 5 minutes flat walk to the start of the high street & town circular bus stop. Lots of good pubs & places to eat. Looking forward to our next visit.
