  • "We enjoyed our stay."

We did leave a note to say that the master bedroom in particular needed floor cleaned for dust bunnies Also the water tank made noises when the heating was switched on

Apartment very clean and tidy had everything we needed. Great location for costal walks. But by far it’s the view you have every morning when you pull back those curtains priceless !! Will be coming back next year

  • "This property is in a great location, close to beach, a couple of restaurants with the great advantage of own parking space."

The owner is very good a responding quickly to any problems that may arise. We had a wonderful stay at Flat 2 and would return. We do agree with other suggestions that more coffee mugs would be good. The shrubs trimming back would improve the view but give you less privacy. Garden furniture could be upgraded however difficult to know what to get on an Atlantic sea front that weathers well. Hope many more visitors enjoy this property.

The accommodation was perfect for our family of 4. We really didn't want to leave and we will certainly be back again next year. You can book this accommodation with confidence.

  • "We've had an amazing family stay in flat 2."

The flat itself is absolutely gorgeous and located in a beatififul spot overlooking the sea. What a blissful sight to awaken to each morning. Situated between Porth Beach & Watergate Bay it's ideal for sand & surf lovers. We will be highly recommending flat 2 to everyone we know. Just 2 little gripes, the first being the outside patio area. This was for us, and I'm sure many others, the main selling point of the accommodation. What better place to sit and sip a cuppa or eat lunch overlooking the sea. Sadly though, the patio furniture is in a poor state and the metal is all rusted. One of the chairs was rusted so badly it had snapped leaving dangeous rusty spikes. The plants are also too overgrown so once siting out there, the view of the sea is obstructed. A new patio set & a bit of TLC with the plants is all it would take to have this place perfect. The second little gripe is the boiler. We used the heating very briefly for one evening when it turned a little chilly. The boiler was intermittently rumbling and vibrating incredibly loud (kettling). It was very concerning so we turned it off. This is something that needs to be addressed ASAP as can lead to terrible consequences if left. Possibly a good service could fix this. To anyone reading. These are the only 2 minuses in an abundance of plusses this property presents. It truly is absolutely gorgeous. Once sorted, this is the perfect pad!

We had the boiler serviced and listened to yr comments and all is working well again sorry for that but out of my control at the time also patio area has been sorted , thank you for letting me know glad yr over all stay was enjoyed x Property Owner

  • "Convenient for Newquay and Porth beach."

Steps down to Whipsiderry Beach currently closed, so have to go via Watergate Beach. Not clear how long for. Flat comfortable. Had everything we required. Patio area and furniture at front could do with a refresh. Overall enjoyed our stay.

  • "Great location and apartment."

Whipsiderry steps down to the beach opposite the apartment have now been closed due to a major cliff fall, however Porth beach is only a few hundred metres away and no steps! A very minor point there is no cafetière provided , which nowadays is standard equipment in holiday apartments and there is rather a shortage of mugs. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Everything you need for your stay. A thoughtful welcome pack. Wonderful views and stunning sunsets from the patio. Lovely walks from your apartment, close to bus stops so your don't need to take the car. Two beaches close by down some steps. Neighbours are very friendly and helpful with good local knowledge. We had a great week here.

  • "Lovely flat."

All the little extras made it special, as this was our first time doing this type of holiday. I was a little anxious over what to expect but it exceeded my expectations. Great for knowing you had a parking spot each day. Close enough to the beach to walk. Smart tvs and dvd player, not that we had time to use it much as the sunsets were stunning.

  • "The flat was nicer than anticipated - well maintained with modern decoration."

Location is good for walk to Porth Beach and easy to walk to Newquay - also walked out past the hut for football golf (you will know when you get there!) - really nice - plus great sea views with usual outstanding Cornwall coastline - we watched sunset on more than one occasion. Shortish walk to Watergate Bay worthwhile - had a very nice stay and packed in a lot of visits to our favourite places.

  • "A little gem of a property!"

The flat is well-equipped, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Having all the accommodation on one floor was great for us as Mum has mobility issues and can't manage stairs (the few steps up to the front door weren't an issue). The beds were super-comfy, and having an allocated parking space off-road was a bonus. By far the best thing about the property is the view from the lounge - we had some stunning sunsets, and the weather held just enough for us to enjoy the odd glass of wine on the terrace. Thank you very much for the welcome goodies - the tea and biscuits were much appreciated after a long drive, and a lovely touch (that Cornish tea is lovely!). All in all we had a lovely week in your delightful property and would definitely recommend it. (So sorry again about your bread board!)

  • "Lovely flat, outstanding view."

A few niggly bits with the showers, so stiff to turn on there is a gadget to turn them on, not ideal. When we arrived we couldn't get into the en-suite bathroom as the door was so stiff as was the patio door. Had a great time though.

Bus Stops positioned outside the property are a great benefit. Property is very well equipped and comfortable with plenty of space. Welcome pack was excellent as was the cleanliness of the entire accommodation. Private onsite parking is a great benefit. Communication with the owners is excellent.

  • "Stunning property."

Perfect location. We visited mawgan porth beach mainly ( 10 min drive) as it was perfect for us as a family. We were able to see the incredible coral sunsets from the garden view on most evenings, this was truly breathtaking. The open top bus that goes past the flat is brilliant. It’s worth a trip along the coast to padstow, this has the best views along the coast! We would definitely recommend to stay here and would re visit in the future.

  • "Our stay in flat 2 was absolutely amazing, the flat had everything and more that we needed."

The views were beautiful we really enjoyed watching the sunset every evening. The location was perfect for long beach days and visiting nearby family. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to our friends and family. We have no issues at all with this flat at all but as our children are getting older maybe 2 single beds rather than a double would be fantastic for us to be able to book again as sharing a bed wouldnt be practical for them anymore.

It is on the main road so there is quite a lot of traffic going past. It is not noisy at night and the bedrooms are at the back of the flat so it is not a problem. We did see lovely sunsets and luckily no high-sided caravans park across the road. We enjoyed our stay there and had a good time.
