  • "The booking was relatively easy and there were a number of emails sent by Sykes prior to my arrival at the Granary."

    I was however disappointed when I could not get through to Sykes when I thought I might have to change my booking. Even though I requested a call back, I never received this. The owners of the Granary however were very helpful and friendly on my arrival. I loved staying there and the added bonus was being able to spend time in the lounge of the main building at any time during the day. The whole venue was beautiful and very peaceful with a lovely little shared courtyard. I took my dog on holiday with me for her first time and it was very easy to manage. The owner gave me information on where to walk my dog. I will be returning for another holiday there as soon as possible. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Thank you to the owners.

With its eclectic range of art galleries, bars, restaurants, cinema, theatre, museum and outstanding cathedral this small city is a superb year round destination. Steeped in history and intriguing architecture there is always plenty to do and see. Just meandering through the Georgian cobbled streets is a pleasure in itself. With many peaceful parks all within a short stroll from the centre it is a most relaxing city to visit. A wonderful day trip can be had from Truro to Falmouth along the stunning Fal estuary with many options to disembark and pick up the boat later along the scenic river trip.
