  • "The apartment is in a fabulous location."

A car is not necessary. The property was very comfortable. We would have liked some information about the actual property i.e. how to operate the heating as we spent a while trying to change the thermostat on the wall in the hallway and eventually realised there was a combi boiler in the wardrobe! On the website the entry time is shown as 3pm when in fact it was 4pm. The apartment was clean throughout although the bathroom tiles could have been cleaner, maybe they would benefit from re grouting. All in all we had a lovely few days and are thinking of returning again next year

  • "Have stayed at this apartment many times over the years and love it and there certainly have been some improvements HOWEVER it is let down by things that don’t make it a top star apartment."

Firstly the cleaning isn’t good, there was broken glass in main room, nothing smelt clean on arrival and the toilets haven’t seen any bleach for a long time! En-suite bathroom, broken toilet roll holder, cannot hang a towel on hooks on door as they just fall off as stuck with double sided sticky tape. Floor tiles and grout are a mess and shower door and seal need attention. Patio door in lounge area absolutely terrible cleaning. Cheap patio furniture that creaks. Carpets need changing. It’s those little things that make it disappointing. As I said my favourite place to stay location wise, comfy beds etc and aesthetically is lovely and best location in Newquay. Will definitely return

I am very sorry the apartment wasn't up to standard for your visit. After reading this review I went over in person to carry out an inspection, and you are correct that there were some areas that needed attention. The toilet roll holder has now been fixed, along with the towel hooks. The grouting and tiles will also be repaired at the end of this week. I am also in the process of arranging replacement carpets, which should be in place in the coming weeks. The balcony furniture is robust but has been weathered by the sea air, so we will also be replacing this. I have also asked the cleaners to pay special attention to the areas you mention. The quality of our guests' experience is important to us, and I am glad you will be returning. Rest assured, we value feedback, and aim to take it on board to improve your future stays. • "The property was in a beautiful location and close to town."

We loved our rooms, the beds were very comfortable. Would have loved some instruction booklets but couldn't find any and their was a Tv missing from the small double. The holiday home none the less was comfortable, clean and tidy and would love to return in the future.

  • "The owner and caretaker were so accommodating and lovely."

You couldn’t find a more perfect spot to stay in for Fistral Beach! The only thing I would mention is the property is listed as having three double beds when it’s actually two doubles and a twin.

We're so happy that you enjoyed your stay - it means a lot to us that we can provide a great experience! You are correct that one of the rooms is a twin. This can be made into a double room on request. We have amended the listing to reflect this. Property Owner

  • "Excellent apartment, location and setting, with great views of the sea."

The only one thing that we were upset about is the parking permit that was in the apartment (to place in the car) kitchen which we didn’t see on the first day moving in as we went out to get some lunch( after an 8 hour drive) , as we didn’t see it and put it in the car straight away we got a fine of £100. This parking permit was not clearly communicated to us and although we later saw information about this in the welcome pack it would be more beneficial if Skye would inform customer’s beforehand of this rather than just leave it in the welcome pack as it is upsetting to be fined in the first day and rather spoils the holiday.

  • "The apartment is very nice with nice view, but personally I didn't find our stay with a 1 year old and 2 year old as relaxing as it could have been."

The bedroom space was brilliant for us and kids and had plenty of room and wardrobe space, but the lounge lacked a dining table which would of made our stay a lot easier with 2 young children. We struggled with a double pushchair getting in and out as there is lots of doors. I would highly recommend if just a couple/s or have older children

We want all of our guests to have the best possible holiday, and as such regret that you didn’t find your stay as enjoyable as you may have. However, I think it’s fair to point out that the property is furnished to an extremely high standard and facilities are accurately advertised. The kitchen features a spacious breakfast bar and there is a large coffee table in the living area. On the balcony there is a table with seating for al fresco dining, though I appreciate this may not be an option for stays in colder months. The apartment has a conventional layout with a door to each room from the hallway, while communal areas have a standard doorway configuration for an apartment within a three storey block. Nevertheless, we are dedicated to providing the best experience, and will take your feedback on board. Property Owner

  • "The property was absolutely stunning!"

Nice and cosy and the cleanliness was incredible! We stayed for 7 nights and wish we could've stayed longer. Three very well sized rooms with the master having an en-suite with shower!! The kitchen living space is very large with smart TV, Bluetooth speaker and of course the main attraction, the balcony. The photos on the page don't quite do it justice. Although a small balcony, it looks over the whole of the headland with some incredible Sea views of fistral beach!! Genuinely I can't recommend this place enough!!
