  • "Most importantly the house was beautifully clean."

Everything was very comfortable and met all our needs. For us the location was perfect and we very much liked the views and the village of St Agnes. The lack of microwave did not bother us. It is hard to find pet free properties so please keep this one pet free.

  • "Lovely house, we had a lovely time."

It is spacious and beautifully decorated. It is set in a quiet location perfect for relaxing. The kitchen is well equipped and the house was clean and comfortable, nice towels and bed linen. Couple of niggles, the sofa in the tv room is quite uncomfortable and very low if you are elderly. The mattress in the blue double room is also not that comfy, There is no microwave and no table to dine outside, having said that there are chairs and the garden is nice space to sit in. The walk to town and beach is very steep. There are some great places to eat and the cove is very pretty. We would happily stay in the house and area again.

  • "This was our second time with the family at the property and we enjoyed it as much as the first time."

The scale, layout and presentation of the property is good and suits our needs well. Reasonable walking distance to the various village services and tourist activities. Good base for walking and driving to surrounding points of interest. We tended to use the small lounge more than the large one, just because it is cosier and has a TV. Though the sofa is uncomfortable unless you want to lay down. The TV could do with an update to 4K and using the remote is a bit of a dark art. But, overall we had a wonderful time and would definitely consider returning again. Thanks.

  • "The house was a great size for what we needed."

The organisation regarding turning up/ keys etc was great. The village amenities were perfect and would greatly recommend the bakery. In regards to improving the house both mattresses in the double rooms (not the en-suite bedroom) require upgrading. One was ridiculously soft and the other was firmer but could feel the springs were digging in. Furthermore a microwave would have been helpful to have in the kitchen especially as we had a toddler with us.

  • "Just beautiful and perfect for us."

What a wonderful property with great facilities and an amazing location. With a short cut down the lane to the village and beach. The walks above the cliffs are breathtaking where you can see Tin mines and sunsets that are stunning. We will be back I hope one day soon as the village has all you need and a trip of 4 miles in ether direction gives you even more beach options. Thank you for a super stay

  • "Lovely property, situated about 10mins walk from the beach(down hill!"

!), and 5mins walk from the village restaurants and pubs. The property is spacious, modern and perfect for visiting areas outside of St Agnes. Will definitely be coming back to St Agnes and Gwel-An-Tanys!!

  • "We really enjoyed our holiday in Gwel-An-Tansys."

The whole feel of the house was a home from home. I loved the decoration, it was quirky, arty with a nod to the owners many travels. The separate snug with the TV is a great idea and the settee was so comfortable I may have watched some programmes through my eyelids. The kitchen was well equipped though a microwave would have been handy to warm up the odd pasty. I would recommend Gwel-An-Tansys to all my friends.

  • "Had a family holiday in this property and all of us were thrilled with it."

In a great location for local bars and shops. Very stylish and clean inside. The photos don't do it justice!....Three car parking spaces in a quiet cul-de-sac. Plenty of room for everyone 3 couples and a child. Kitchen well equipped although a microwave would have been useful.

  • "A lovely house in a brilliant, quiet setting."

Stunning view out of the back rooms and garden. Lovely walks along the coastal footpath very close by. The house was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed for a family of 6.

  • "For the owner:- The property was brilliant and in a great location."

The only issues we had were that there wasn’t a microwave and the controls for the downstairs TV were not working very well even after we changed the batteries. A microwave is a useful item to have in the kitchen especially if you are wanting to quickly heat or reheat food. Other than this the house was great. Feedback for the website:- Absolutely brilliant property, in a great spot and the views from the bedrooms were excellent. The house is very spacious and comfortable. I would definitely look at rebooking in the future.
