The property is in a great area and was prepared fantastically but we would recommend the following to make it even better The bed mattress is very soft and you can feel the springs and is so low to the floor making getting out tricky The sofa is uncomfortable and has a low back, we had to use cushions to make it useable The outside light didn’t work and the switch for it I think is taped off, needs repairing now the winter is here The only ceiling light over the kitchen doesn’t work

Comfortable, spacious, convenient and very quiet. Lovely touches with roses, Prosecco, milk, cheese treats, dog treats and a welcome card on arrival. Will definitely go again.

We loved our stay only one observation (as I have bad knees) the bed was too low for me so struggled a little getting in and out but otherwise perfect little cottage and the most equipped we’ve stayed in and everywhere we went everyone was so friendly

  • "Bryher cottage was presented with nice touches, however the following needs, in our estimation immediate rectification."

    I. The bed was to low with a very very poor quality mattress and needs immediate replacement with a larger , firmer, quality Divan. 2. The lounge furniture, ie settee and chair were totally un supportive and also need replacing with quality chair and settee. 3. The TVs firstly the lounge TV didn’t work and the owners son did eventually get it working but with the aid of a cable draped over the lounge carpet. Extra channels were only available with the aid of previous tenants input. The Tv in the bedroom was for dvds only !? Very odd. I would also like to add that when Cornish holidays messed up, even though holding payment details, told us that the balance had not been paid, leaving us worried, even when it was sorted failed to respond to us in spite of numerous emails .

  • "We had a most enjoyable time hosted/based at Bryher."

As a disabled person (needing a walk-in shower) and accompanied with dogs I have to do a lot of research to find a suitable place. Bryher is definitely one such and I could adapt quite easily to temporary accommodation. Thank you to our lovely hostess, J, for a warm greeting and a clean, comfy, quiet place with ample parking. A great week all round. Would I go back, yes indeed!

Pub in Cadgwith 15 minute walk down a steep hill but the scenery takes your mind off it and the beer does the same on the way back. Perfect for two and safe garden for a dog. Even though the host lives next door i only saw her once and Jacque was very pleasant. If im in the area again i would re book without hesitation.

  • "Just back from a lovely stay at Bryher cottage, Cadgwith."

We found the address a little difficult to find initially but plumbed in Prazegooth Lane and found the cottage straight away. Lovely welcome of a beautiful vase of roses, Prosecco, nibbles and milk in the fridge. Also treats for our dog, Freddie. The garden was perfect for dogs as enclosed and big enough to wander around in. The sofa was cozy in the evenings whilst watching telly but the telly was not great to operate. The bedroom was large and would have suited a king size bed. The bed was too low and the mattress too soft for us. We also prefer cotton bed linen but that’s just our preference. There was also a telly in the bedroom just for dvds which we did not use. We loved the bathroom shower but the shelf over the sink needs to go. The cottage was warm and bright and the art work around the cottage was lovely. We visited the Cadgwith Cove Inn a couple of times for food in the evenings and the fresh fish was delicious. We even got entertained with folk singers one evening which was nice. Do not get a take-away from The Galleon chip shop in Mullion as we had to throw ours away as it was greasy and smelt off. We would recommend a stay here as it’s in a perfect location for getting around Cornwall.

The secure garden was brilliant for the dogs and we were very appreciative of the thoughtful treats left for us and the dogs. Would stay there again and will definitely recommend to friends/family visiting the area. Thank you!!

This was our second visit to this property, we found it to be clean warm and cosy well equipped and just right for us, we had to ask for the heating to be turned down at one point, and this was no problem for the owners as they are just next door, we had a lot of rain and there was even towels for our dog so thoughtful, we would recommend this holiday home and would like to return one day,

.we had a fantastic time.. the cottage was beautiful and so peaceful. With 3 pommies and 2 adults it was plenty of space for us .. only thing I would change is the patio but in fairness Jacquie told us that it gets slippery . Caution is needed. We would definitely recommend this beautiful cottage to friends and family.

  • "Lovely property."

Everything you need is there including for the four legged guests. Nice surprise having flowers, Prosecco and nibbles too. The property is at the top of a steep hill which is not for the faint hearted. But that said it was absolutely fine. The fact there is parking outside the house more than makes up for that. We enjoyed it so much we’ve already booked for next year. Thank you.

  • "This is our second stay at Bryher cottage and it was wonderful!"

The cottage is quiet, comfortable, warm and cosy. The location allows for travel throughout the South of Cornwall with ease but has the advantage of not being on a main thoroughfare. The thoughtful bottle of Prosecco and nibbles was a lovely touch. The shower is insanely good!! The secure garden is ideal for our dog and lends the added element of security. This is the only place we stay in Cornwall now and cannot recommend it highly enough!!

  • "Perfect for our short stay."

Good location for exploring area and doing the walks. Useful parking space outside accommodation. Lovely welcome gifts with fresh flowers and chilled Prosecco in fridge. Received welcome card - nice touch. Small secure garden perfect for our dog. Clean & well equipped. Loose the shelf over bathroom sink un likely to use it and no fear of bumping head then. We’d have preferred a better tv in lounge. But wouldn't let that stop me re booking and staying again or indeed recommending to friends. Thank you very much

The location was perfect for us, a short walk into the local fishing village where there are a few shops and a pub that does really delicious food. There's a lot going on in the local area so you won't be stuck for things to do, that being said, the cottage is located in a truly peaceful location so you can fully unwind, being from Manchester, this was heaven for us. We walked from the cottage to Lizard Point as well as to Kennack Sands. The garden is beautiful and secure which was brilliant for our two dogs. The cottage itself is fully equipped so you won't be left needing anything, the owners even left us a bottle of bubbly and some milk in the fridge ready for us when we arrived! We could not recommend Bryher Cottage enough, we would love to visit again!

Nice treats left for us and our dog on our arrival. Definitely a plus having a nice and secure garden for our dog. Bathroom shower was lovely but the sink was very small. Unfortunately the bed was a small double and we found it not that comfortable. Didn't feel we could have a cup of tea in it in the mornings! The bedroom is definitely large enough for a bigger bed, a king size would make it feel more luxurious.

Thank you for your feedback. The bed is a standard double but I take your point and may well replace with a king-size over the winter. Property Owner

  • "Well equipped and clean."

Ideal for what we wanted. Only negative comment would be the over powering smell of the air freshener. Far to much and really overpowering. Would make me think twice about rebooking.

Thank you for your feedback, we spoke with the property owner regarding the point raised regarding the air freshener and she confirmed there is just 1 small air freshener in the bathroom, which could have been unplugged if needed. There are no other air fresheners in the entirety of the Bryher Cottage. Property Owner
