  • "We love staying at Nans-Tek as a family!"

It is actually the only holiday house we have ever gone back to twice. We love the garden with its hot tub and the panoramic views. Huge bonus to have a washing machine and tumble dryer too. The house has all you need. Wonderful holiday home. We look forward to our next holiday!

We had a wonderful holiday here, because the home has everything you might need, from a mop and bucket to a bag of pegs for hanging your laundry. The whole place was perfectly clean and tidy, with plenty of storage in every room. Also loved the selection of toys, books and DVDs.

  • "This is a really lovely, comfortable property in the most wonderful location."

We love Crackington Haven so we’re really pleased to find a good sized property in the village. The hot tub was a really fantastic addition too. The views from the property could be absolutely stunning so it was a shame that the hedge hadn’t been cut for sometime, obscuring a lot of the view. This really could have been a five star holiday, except for this and just a few other things. The cutlery in the kitchen drawer wasn’t very clean when we arrived, and no washing up liquid is provided so renters are hard pushed to clean up on their final morning without it. We bought our own, but other tenants may not. We’ve been renting cottages for many years and this is something that is most usually provided. The frying pan in the property is not useable as all the non stick coating is peeling off. There were no bin liners in the bathroom or bedroom bins. Again, we have found this is standard in other lets. The bed linen has really seen better days. There were marks on all of the linen but one of the beds was particularly bad. I did request new sheets for this one which were promptly provided. All the bed linen smelt fresh so there’s no question that is had been washed but had been left with marks from the washing machine I think. Also, the use of dark coloured towels always feels like a no no for me. It’s a shame these few things let the property down really as otherwise, it is a beautiful, comfortable property, making for a superb holiday let

It is beautifully situated in a very private area with a large private garden that houses the jacuzzi. Views from the jacuzzi are spectacular. The property is very well maintained and well equipped, it is easy to contact the owner. We had an issue with a fuse that blew, the owner directly arranged repairmen to fix the issue. This property remains on our list to return to in the future.

  • "Beautiful well equipped cottage with fabulous views all the way down to the sea."

The cottage has everything you need and is actually better than the photos (new couches in the lounge). I found the seating area and beds really comfy. I appreciated the little things like plenty of storage space, hooks on the doors and the robes. The kitchen was well equipped with much more than the average cottage. The only little thing I found was missing was somewhere in the main bedroom to do hair/make up. I decent sized movable mirror on the chest of drawers that you can move near to the bedside plugs would solve this. The area is lovely with plenty of places to visit. I would recommend Polzeath Beach as being worth a visit.

  • "We’ve just spent a wonderful week at Nans Tek."

The property was probably the best we’ve stayed in on a holiday. It had everything we needed - good quality furnishings, towels and bedding. The kitchen cupboards had plenty of crockery, cutlery, utensils and gadgets. Ample storage spaces too with more than enough cupboards, drawers and hangers. Hot tub was a bonus too and used often. Beautiful part of Cornwall, only a few minutes drive to the beach or a 30-45 minute walk depending on which way you went (A couple of steep hills though!). Beach was great for body boarding and there are two cafes and a pub (would recommend eating there too). Parking all day was £5 in the public car park. Overall a fantastic holiday and would definitely recommend this property. Thank you for a great time.

Thank you so much Tracy for this wonderful feedback. It certainly is a beautiful part of Cornwall. It would be great to see you back again some time! Peter & Alison Property Owner

The hot tub was a great addition and in a wonderful location with stunning views. Loved the hot tub, it was great to come out of the patio doors from the bedroom straight into the tub. Having the robes to put on after was great. It is a very peaceful and quite area and the views are spectacular. We ate one evening at the pub in Crackington Haven and had a really nice meal but you must book ahead.
